I was looking for menudo, turned out they only serve at the weekend. The price is not too bad for a set of plate, the carnitas perfectly soaked in the tomato juice is very tender. Some worker were having lunch there, some family gathering, the waiter is very welcoming.

Food was just a little blend this time, lacking some flavor. I used to come here a few years back and the food was good then, now it was missing something. Not sure, either salt or more flavor. Its still ok but not as it used to be. I thought adding salsa and lime would help and give it more flavor but not when salsa was blend too. Hopefully they do something and bring the flavor how it used to be.

I got the carnitas plate which had decent flavor. The salsa provided with it certainly helped. The rice and beans were just okay. I would ask for the carnitas to be a little crispier next time with a spicier salsa.

Always amazing ❣️❣️❣️

This is a long overdue review. I’ve been to this restaurant for 8 years +++
The owners and staff are always wonderful, helpful, and polite

This is a true authentic, Mexican food restaurant (Pride Themselves Homestyle Authentic restaurant )

These photos were taken at 11:30 AM on a Monday morning because I was craving their delicious food . Hence, the reason why there’s no one in the restaurant. This place is always packed because the food is absolutely incredible.

The food quality is always incredible. Can’t say enough of how delicious this food is.

Thank you for maintaining such quality and excellence for these years ❣️

Had a bad stomach ache after eating here. Until today, I used to trust Google reviews. Obviously I have to question my taste and judgement if this place was so well reviewed. However my friend who ate with me and is an excellent cook agreed that the food was not good. This place has nice Mexican tile work, the clean toilet and good service but really an eat and run kind of place with mediocre food.

Definitely a 3 stars! Order a super burrito and unfortunately they gave us a side or gone bad avocado. Plus the Caldo de res super salty. I just feel like the authentic mexican food is no longer there! Of course there are other plates that still love to eat next time I come back Im ordering my usual.

This is a great little place, it’s been open for a long time. I been eating here since I was a kid, my dad used to bring me and my brothers. The carnitas tacos are great, except they change the cheddar cheese to the white cheese. Tacos taste good but not like they used to taste. There is limited parking, the restaurant is very clean.

The best carnitas in town, the tacitos de carnitas are to die for. The Cocido de rez is good.
I’m glad their tortilla chips are thinner than they used to be, nice thin and crispy

Was in the neighborhood so wanted to try this place, the food is good but the inside was little dirty and dark. You have to order in the window, then your food is packed togo, then you grab a seat and sit down to eat or take it togo with you. The food is good, nothing anything special. Wish the interior was little bit more brighter and cleaner.
