Eko Atlantic Restaurant is officially one of my new favorite comfort food spots. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was loud, fun, and full of energy. The drinks were strong and flavorful, especially the giant margarita that definitely lives up to the hype. The wet lemon pepper and sweet chili wings were next level and packed with flavor.
The rasta pasta and jollof salmon tasted homemade, rich, and perfectly seasoned.
Everything came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care.If you’re looking for great food, aggressive drinks, and a good time, this is absolutely the place to go.

I had high expectations for EKO Atlantic Restaurant, especially after seeing the buzz on TikTok and planning to stop by before a concert. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what we anticipated.
We made reservations for 5:00 p.m., knowing the restaurant opens at 4:00 p.m. However, when my group of three arrived, it felt as though the place had just opened moments before. Staff were still cleaning and arranging the space, which immediately set an unorganized tone. To add to the confusion, the bartender doubled as the hostess, and the cook was also acting as the DJ—an interesting setup, but not one that inspired confidence in a smooth dining experience.
Once we received the menu, we were quickly told that there was no fish available, which was extremely disappointing since fish makes up the majority of the menu—especially frustrating considering they had just opened for the day.
We decided to proceed with drinks, which were actually very good. We also ordered the sweet chili wings, and those were genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the food took over an hour to arrive.
For our mains, we ordered jollof rice with goat (two plates) and one turkey option. The goat dishes were overwhelmingly spicy—not a pleasant heat, but an intense spice that completely overpowered the meal. On top of that, the goat meat was tough. The turkey wings were better in comparison, but still lacked flavor.
Overall, it was a bad experience. When all three people at the table agree, it’s hard to ignore. Maybe on another night or at a later time the experience would have been different, but based on this visit, it missed the mark. The restaurant is small, cute, and definitely has potential—but potential alone isn’t enough.
Given the hype and our plans for the evening, I expected a much better vibe and execution. Hopefully, with better preparation and consistency, this place can grow into what it promises to be.

Spent over $200 USD for 3 people for salmon that wasn’t cooked AT ALL, plantain was VERY dry and the jollof rice was the nastiest thing I’ve tasted and smelled in my life. 1 out was 3 meals were decent. My friend waited about 45 to get his uncooked salmon and waited long to get some food to go as well. The DJ and drinks were good. In conclusion don’t purchase the food unless you wana gamble if it’ll be cooked right or not. Stick to wings and drinks.

Decided to pick this spot for my birthday, they seemed strict about making a reservations just to get there to an empty restaurant on a Friday night! This place has great aesthetics, but that’s honestly where the positives end. The food was terribly disappointing, my friends complained that the hot wings were so salty they were barely edible. The drinks were just as bad; both the margaritas and Long Islands were absolutely disgusting. Let’s, not forget how there was only one bartender who left out at one point leaving us there and told us “she’ll be back” before my Homegirl could order a drink!

The music was decent, but even that lost its charm once we realized it was literally being played straight off YouTube. (no dj as promised)
Customer service was the biggest downfall. When we politely said we weren’t happy with the drinks, we were met with attitude and rudeness instead of professionalism. To make matters worse, we were overcharged by $30, only to be told it was a
“mistake.”
At that point, my group and I decided to leave. If all you care about is how a place looks and don’t mind bad food, terrible drinks, and poor service, then maybe this spot is for you. But please do not ignore the bad reviews like I did, because They are telling the truth. And they delete reviews!!

Decided to visit based on good reviews and tik tok videos. Parking is simply horrible in this area. $25.00 to park on the street is ridiculous. I was really hoping the food was going to be great. My family of 4 was truly disappointed. Due to the parking we had to do take out. The Rasta pasta and jollof rice was horrible and too spicy to enjoy. Now if you like your food spicy you may enjoy it. The fried chicken look weird and was awful. My husband was craving the Agosi soup and requested soft beef and we got home it was not edible. The bathroom smelled like sewage. They need to clean the bathrooms. No toilet paper holder- just a bunch of used toilet paper rolls stack on a rack. I wish I could get a refund. Paid over $90 only to throw it out. I do not recommend take out. Maybe dinning in would have been better.

Came here for a Friday night out and did not enjoy the experience at all. The food and drinks took a very long time to arrive to the point other people who came later got serviced before us. When asking for an update the bartender had a bad attitude and acted like we were bothering her. When the food finally arrived it was bland and unappetizing. We really wanted to enjoy the night but the treatment we got from the bartender plus the long wait time ruined it.

The lamb suya was good and tender, the fried yams were good but portion could’ve been better, I think one of my party members liked his jollof but where was the meat?. The young man server did a good job. The decor is nice, and right now, it’s BYOB.
