To be fair, it’s Summer, so it’s HOT, but the place was extremely hot inside when I arrived. There were 2 people running the restaurant, the lady was nice. I ordered chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, and extra gravy. The chicken was almost burnt, bland, dry, and over cooked. The mashed potatoes were very good, but the gravy had little chunks of some sort of meat that I could not make out. It was NOT good. I also didn’t get the extra gravy I requested. The place was decorated cute. It is VERY pricey for the quality of food. I will not likely go back.

I live in Houston but drive to Austin on a regular basis. Now I time my trips so I can stop and eat at Eji’s on Main in Waller. Whether it’s lunch or dinner I’m never disappointed. I’m a big fan of chicken strips and the difference between commercially made and hand made is obvious. Sometimes I get a couple of meals to take home with me. I have yet to go wrong on anything they have to offer. I encourage everyone looking for GOOD food and friendly service to stop by and try it out!

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Waller. Such a cute gem of a restaurant. My sister and I ate lunch and ordered tacos. The salmon tacos were so good! The food is super fresh and the people who operate the restaurant are some of the nicest people in town. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner!

Phenomenal lunch!! They have a broad menu with a bunch of great fresh options. We stopped for a quick lunch and had a delicious and fresh salad with some tuna! The blueberry lemon bread pudding was fantastic. The owners greeted us personally and we had a great time! Also conveniently located next door to a brewery and they run a pager system to order food and then go get drinks next door! Definitely recommend stopping at this adorable family friendly spot for lunch or dinner in Waller!

I had the chicken salad sandwich and a side salad with the lemon Tarragon vinegrette dressing. The ingredients were of good quality and healthy and everything tasted so good. I also got the chocolate bread pudding and lemon blueberry read pudding and they are my new favorite dessert! I will definitely be stopping there again.

The Unami burger is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My wife had the Grilled Romajne salad with grilled salmon and it was also excellent. I live 45 minutes from this place and it is 100% worth the drive. The brewery next door, Location 11, is excellent as well. Pro tip: go there and get carry out from Eji which you can eat at the brewery.

We started using Eji’s for catering lunch to our office here in Waller, and have been more than happy with their service each time. Their phenomenal menu reaches every person we have, no matter their eating style or restrictions, and the service is out of this world! If you haven’t tried their Grilled Cheese Sandwich, you are missing out on the best one I’ve ever had!
