Today I placed an online order and got a Nova Lox bagel. When I opened it, I was really disappointed to see such a small amount of salmon and an overwhelming amount of tomatoes and onions. I went to the store to address the issue, but the woman there (a middle-aged blonde lady) wasn’t friendly at all. She just said, “There’s nothing I can do, you need to contact support,” without even checking the bagel.
It was frustrating, especially because I’m not a new customer and this isn’t the first time I’ve ordered that bagel. At $11, it’s just not worth it for what I received.

Food was good, consistent with what I would expect. What I didn’t expect was for this nice new store to be walk out only. Small and cramped and I was planning on a nice Sunday morning having a bagel and a sit down with my wife at this nice new location before Christmas shopping. Instead, we had to cram into the store as it was cold outside and the lobby is very small. Then ended up eating in my car.

Ordered a plain bagel with onion and chive shmear, cinnamon sugar bagel, and 2 Doggie bagels. This was an online order. The bagels were made correctly and tasted very good, too. My dogs enjoyed their bagels. The restaurant was clean. The staff were friendly and acknowledged me as I walked in. The down side, this is a small place. It’s for to-go orders only. That means no tables. Also, there is no drive thru.

The walk-in was a bit crowded with 3 customers inside. The cashier was stressed and never smiled. Even a bit snippy as she read my order back to me a second time. Which was not necessary. I felt bad that I was even there, real high pressure on her. I’ll have to go to another Einstein, somewhere else.

This morning as I was going to work one of the engine lights turned on. Had to turn around to go home but was right by the bagel shop. So I thought of going in and maybe after I got back into my rental the light would maybe go off. The young lady this morning was so cheerful and kind and explained the situation. We talked like we had known each other forever . No other customers were in the store by the way since it had just opened. But she listened to my issue then offered me a coffee. I know it does not seem like much but it changed my whole day right away. These are the kind of employees that WOW the customer and the experience they don’t forget. Thank you.

This place has forgot the cheese on my bagels THREE times in a row. Considering the price of the bagels itself is $10. And the fact cheese is $1.20 just to add is extremely pathetic when you can’t even get that right. Definitely will not be spending anymore here.

I ordered a Texas brisket sandwich and received only a teaspoon of brisket, which the associate stated is the standard portion. This cannot be accurate, as I visit three times a week and have consistently received a larger portion. If I had wanted an egg sandwich, I would have ordered one. This is unacceptable.
