Bagel sandwiches was terrible. It was like eating a skinny bagel. What happened to the old school bagels that had some substance to them? And for almost $8 I could have went and sat down and had a full meal at a regular Cafe

We stopped into Einstein Bros for a quick bite while in Grosse Pointe to visit Trader Joe’s.
It is a fairly typical chain-style cafe. They offer a wide selection of bagels and breakfast/lunch bagel sandwiches.
I opted for an egg and avocado sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel was very fresh and soft, and the egg was cooked well. All in all, an average bagel sandwich that did the trick.
They offer self-serve style coffee in the main Cafe area. They had about four or five choices, including regular/dark roast, flavoured and decaf. I believe the tags may have gotten mixed up, as my regular coffee had a very strong hazelnut flavour. It was very reminiscent of gas station-style coffee, drinkable but not at all gourmet. If you are looking for a specialty coffee, I recommend checking out one of the other nearby cafes.
The cafe itself was open-concept, clean and bright with lots of space. It was comfortable to eat in, and I did not feel that we were being rushed. The staff brought our order to the table, which was also nice.
Overall, it is nothing fancy but is a good choice for a quick and low-cost bite.

Love this Einsteins! The all-nighter bagel is always delicious, hot, and fresh. Staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. This is a great spot for a quick morning breakfast. 🙂

Very clean and not too loud. The host are very pleasant and nice. You have to pay for parking but it’s cheap parking. The food is very good and fresh. Can’t go wrong spending your breakfast here.

Stopped in for bagels and coffee while taking a break at the hospital a few blocks away. Very busy at the time we visited (Saturday mid-morning). Staff was super friendly, made suggestions, and the back of the house worked effectively and efficiently to serve everyone quickly. Enjoyed Maplehouse bagel sandwich and coffee.

I was in the area. Stopped in to grab a simple sandwich. There were 5 employees behind the counter. Nobody said hello. I stood there for 5 mins then went to bathroom. Still nobody greeted me. So I left and took my business else where.
