Franklin, TN. A fancy Einsteins! We weathered the pandemic in South Florida and our favorite Einsteins were pitifully understaffed and didn’t open the main dining room even up to 2022. Now we’re in Orlando far away from the few Einsteins in Central Florida, so imagine the excitement of my husband when our hotel was next door to this one!! He got his favorite turkey egg and cheese bagel with coffee. Then he said, “That settles it. We’re moving across the street.”

Manager Tess, will not sell you thee plain bagels when the inventory is low because “then we’d only have two left.’ If you confusedly question that refusal,, she’ll get snippy and rude, then offer to give you just one of the five plain bagels she has left. Downright bizarre, haggling with a business to buy goods they have, and you have money and a desire to buy. What am I missing here? This is the “management” representation y’all want Einsteins? Looks like Panera’s going to get my money from here on out.

Maybe I was over excited for what this place was. I figured it would be a delicious alternative to Starbucks. They had no cars in the drive through vs the packed line at the Starbucks which also enticed me. Needless to say I was disappointed. I got overpriced, greasy bagels and subpar coffee. It was nearly $30 for 2 bagels and 2 coffees so there was no price savings compared to Starbucks too. Also the bagels were rushed and when I asked if they could make a burrito (from the menu) without egg (as I am allergic) I was told that they have a pre-made mix for all their burritos and could not. The previous time we tried them their credit card reader for the drive thru was down and it took 2 reboots at 3 minutes a time before they just ran my card indoors. This time we used cash to avoid that problem. All together this location if not this company is overrated. Will pass from now on.

Drove through for breakfast and once I got to my office I realized they had put hardly any cream cheese on the bagel. At least at Starbucks when you order a bagel you get a container to spread yourself. Such a bummer!

Suggestion. Don’t go so close to closing. Chips are not given with the meal around closing time. Food is still good. Recommend the chorizo burrito if available at visit. Recommend the Tasty Turkey. Or Brunch for two. In app order fast a points earned.

Unfortunately this isn’t my first unfortunate experience at this store. Unfriendly staff, when we asked for our bagels to be toasted, they microwaved them and handed them back with a grunt when we said thank you.
