The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and ensured everything went smoothly.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality Chinese food and a pleasant dining environment.
Here dish size were small which most of customers complained about , but it was just right for us because we don’t like to take food away and try to finish our meals in the restaurant.
Clean , light , flavorful.
Their tofu soup was very special, I believe they made their own tofu , texture great with soybean aroma.
I will go back and try other dishes in the future.
My wife and I ordered two dishes, the wagyu with garlic and beef tongue with mushrooms. Both of them were amazing tasting, but if I had to choose one, I’d say the beef tongue has the edge. However, afterwards we were not completely full (even with rice), so for two people I would recommend three dishes or two mains and an appetizer.
I hope that chopsticks without the woodie plug can be offered as a norm. It’s really not fun to use the plug-in chopsticks..
The food was excellent — both refined dishes for entertaining and bold homestyle flavors. We tried seven dishes, and every one was a hit. Highlights: raw marinated shrimp (rare outside of Japanese spots), incredibly tender beef jerky, and the claypot rice that our kids devoured. Their jasmine series was creative and refreshing — especially the “Jasmine She Bu De,” made with just the tender bok choy hearts in broth.
Everything was fresh and handmade — no shortcuts. You can really taste the care. The chef is clearly talented and versatile. They also have outdoor seating, and a hotpot place is opening next door soon. Can’t wait to go back!
The food is alright but it is hardly worth 70 USD per person.
Zhejiang food is rare in the bay area but this is really unnotable quality and can’t compare with the real thing
