Good sushi at a reasonable price for the most part. The cooked dishes are also quite good. The service leaves a bit to be desired, and the space is very small and cramped, but if you’re looking for good, authentic Japanese food, it’s worth it. This is definitely the only good Japanese place in the Castro.

One of the best and most authentic japanese spots in the city! The service is great and the food is comforting and very home-style.

Amazing spot!!! Food was delicious, service was impeccable, and vibe was so warm. Family owned restaurant with the best sushi prices in the the area. Fish was really fresh. Tempura crispy. We can’t wait to go back!

Dropped by for an early dinner. Restaurant was small but the food was quite good. Ordered a number of rolls and nigiri and the fish was good. The ikura however didn’t taste fresh but still was good.

Simple and relaxed sushi place, the menu is compact but the quality of the items served does not disappoint, the place is small but has an adequate flow of customers and it is hardly necessary to wait for a table.

Great sushi at a reasonable price! I tried the regular chef’s sampler which comes with one roll and 7 pieces of nigiri. It was the perfect amount of food and great pieces of fish. Highly recommend!

Visited this Japanese restaurant hoping for a pleasant experience, but was instead met with an unwelcoming attitude. I brought my scooter along and was confronted by the owner who was quite rude, telling me not to bring my “toy” next time. Felt very singled out and disrespected. Not the warm hospitality I was expecting.

Small little establishment that is well known for their tofu. We got the hot tofu and it was super smooth, like a Chinese tofu-fa. However the other dishes were just ok. The duck was dry and the sashimi was nothing special. The service was very nice and quick so a solid 3 stars.
