Great selection of dishes and things you would not expect to find at a small country restaurant. The service is always friendly and good. There is live music on the weekends. It can be difficult to talk with friends when I’m the area by the band. Plenty of parking is available.

Nice, non-fussy place. We enjoyed our food, the musician, and server were all great. The cowboy bites were a fun appetizer, apple cider margarita was great as well.

Amber is very friendly and a wonderful host! Entire building is clean with a view! Great place to stop with a group while out jeeping. Cowboy bites and rueben eggs rolls are must try appetizers. $2.50 16 oz cans of Michelob Ultra…..WHAT? Try the frozen mango margaritas in the summer!!

We stumbled across Eight Top Grill in search for dinner close to home and are glad we did!! Our server, at the bar, was awesome and made sure we knew about their daily specials and days they have live music. My husband noticed that they don’t have beer and tap…but it’s coming soon. And I had a Mangocreamcicle that was perfect!!
He had The Eighth Wonder of the World (monthly sandwich) This month was a double cheeseburger with pub sauce. That was very good and the hand battered onions rings looked great!!
I had the flatbread sandwich with chicken and fries. I’ve never seen fries made this way! They rocked!! The sandwich was a little messy to eat, but had a nice flavor. I also ordered the Cole Slaw was okay. I like mine more tangy.
We have already made plans for rib night! I hope you give this new restaurant a chance to grow, they have a great vibe!!

Amber the bartender is very friendly, a good conversationalist, and keeps your table full. Clean with multiple seating options! Lots of TV’s for sporting events. Wings are great!

Would not recommend this place. Country View and then The Forge was so much better before eight top came in, and what kind of name is eight top??. St Leon Tavern and Klump’s both in the general area of eight top have fried chicken that tastes better and more reasonably priced and never raw like the chicken served at eight top. The food is mediocre, inconsistent from one time to the next and most of it is microwaved. Their hours are very inconsistent as well. They close before the hours posted. They don’t have the first clue about running a business. Doubt it will be in business within the next couple years. Need a health inspector to look at the place too.

We stumbled upon this place on our way from Knoxville to Indianapolis for the eclipse. We’d been in the car for a while and the kids were tired. Our waitress was obviously busy, having to manage a busy time by herself. The wait was understandably long, but we entertained ourselves with the games on the kids menu.
The food was really great, and worth the extra mile down from the interstate. We were all really pleased.
Even better than the food though was the hospitality. A woman from another table, seemingly a local, offered us a bag of candy to share with the kids (sealed, it wasn’t weird). And then when our waitress handed us the check, she had given us the Tuesday night (kids eat free) special. It’s Sunday! It was a very generous act of kindness.
We’ll definitely go out of our way to stop here again, any time we’re headed through. Thank you for the great food and kind service!

First time there. Never knew it was near me and wanted to try something new. We usually don’t go into bar & grill places as we don’t drink. But the menu looked promising.
Food was tasty and well made. Service was friendly and expedient. There was a live band there, which we weren’t expecting. It looks like they have that every weekend. Not a big deal as the duo were talented, but it did make it difficult for my wife and I to talk about much.
So we will go back again. Just on a week day next time.

The staff at Eight Top is absolutely amazing! It’s a nice place to hang out and grab a good bite to eat. While you’re there, go ahead and grab yourself a nice cold beer! The owners are amazing people and everyone is extremely nice and friendly! Just a quick stop off the interstate.
