Excellent food! Eight Sushi Lounge is a solid spot for a fun, upscale sushi night in Atlanta. You can’t go wrong with sushi, rolls, or the ramen!

The ramen isn’t as salty as many others I’ve tried, which I actually appreciated. It tastes like they’re using a house-made broth rather than the typical pre-packaged base.

This place has been on my list for over 2 years, and Im happy we were able to try it out. The sushi was amazing. I had the Casanova roll and my bf had the Island roll. We also tried the shrimp appetizer and the miso soup. The drinks were good as well. We would love to return!

We ordered the Roaring 20’s, Langoustine, and Island breeze rolls and they all were phenomenal! Best sushi I’ve ever had. I also had the matcharita and it was delicious. All around great experience.

I have only been here once so far, but this place was phenomenal. Every single thing we tried was amazing and service was great. If my wallet and distance to get there were different then I would go as often as possible and try every single thing on the menu, but such is life. Highly recommend this place, I’m excited to go back when I get the chance to!

4.5/5. First visit & very impressed

This was my first time dining at Eight Sushi Lounge and I was genuinely impressed. The environment, innovation, and quality all stand out in a big way. Service lagged a bit, and I do think truffle is slightly overplayed on a few dishes + across the menu, but overall the experience was fantastic – I’ll definitely be back!

There’s also a separate moody lounge to the left when you walk in, perfect for cocktails before or after dinner. Loved that touch.

Standouts
• Kampachi Serrano – Super fresh and unique. Baby yellowtail with cilantro and a ponzu slushy… such a fun, bright bite & idea
• Tuna Crisp – A must. Slivers of tuna on a crisp with just the right amount of truffle oil… and I’m usually not a truffle girl
• Eggs Benedict – Slide it down the hatch for an instant punch of flavor. Absolutely loved this one
• Orange Is the New Black – Simple salmon in cilantro oil. Clean, fresh, fantastic
• Rolls & Nigiri Tasting – No clue everything I tried because it was a large tasting, but everything was excellent. The walu nigiri was my favorite.
• Miso Seabass – Always a home run, but I appreciate that it actually comes with sides (veggies + grilled rice patty) instead of being served solo like other sushi spots for the same ~$40 price
• Miso Steak – Tender, flavorful

The “Still Good” List
• Monroe Tuna – Their take on crispy rice with spicy tuna. Delicious, but the truffle wasn’t necessary; I would’ve preferred to taste more of the tuna. I still prefer Umi or Houston’s version.
• Green Bean Fries – Tempura green beans, fun to share. I do wish the menu offered healthier/lighter options for a sharable snack mid meal… like charred shishito peppers, eggplant or Japanese sweet potatoes, or even pickles veggie board
• Gyoza – Solid.
• Chicken Teriyaki – Juicy and flavorful, good for non-sushi eaters.

Overall, Eight Sushi Lounge brings creativity, freshness, and a great vibe! I’ll absolutely be back.

This was some of, if not THE best sushi I’ve ever had. I indulged in the Langoustine Roll and Dynasty Roll. They were both melt in your mouth good and flavor was phenomenal.
The service was impeccable as well. Attentive, polite, and humorous.

Great experience and I highly recommend.

I visited here for the very first time and it was quite amazing. The waitress was fantastic. She offered great suggestions for food and drinks, as well as taught me how to use chopsticks.

The atmosphere was super cool. The vibe was so dope. I’d highly recommend this spot.

Everything was spot on, perfect!

The sushi here is incredible, it’s definitely one of the top sushi spots in the city in terms of food. I’m telling you the sea bass was the best thing I ate, the rice and vegetables were cooked perfectly and went well with the fish, no need for fork and knife because the fish cuts like butter and taste insane. Followed by “The Monroe”(tuna crispy rice) which we ended up getting three orders of because it was so good. Matcha margarita is great twist, and the dessert was delicious too, cheesecake was very rich if you’re into that, but the apple pie was class, that little muffin top was sensational.(check video for reference) The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly more casual than I would’ve thought. Low-key but nice as well, at the corner of Brady Avenue and 8th Street. Has outdoor seating accommodations and a pretty big bar. The indoor dining area isn’t massive, but there is plenty of space and the tables are not too on top of each other. I’ve always heard good things about this place, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It can be hard to get a reservation here at a good time because it is very popular but we showed up slightly early for our reservation and they still seated us right away.
Overall great experience, will definitely be back again!

Not a lot of street parking, but there is a garage and they have valet parking.

They have a cool after hours lounge next door called “after eight”

We’ve heard a lot about Eight Sushi, so we couldn’t help but have high expectations going in. Staff was welcoming and helpful with explaining the dishes. The drinks were great. The food presentation was beautiful. We really enjoyed the “Rice to Meet You” chef’s choice nirgiri. Some of the pieces just melted in our mouths– divine. A couple of rolls were a bit too sweet for us. The seafood tasted like it was high quality, but we couldn’t help questioning the hefty price tag. It’s high-end sushi, but the experience is more on the casual side.

I absolutely love this place. I heard great things about it and they did not disappoint. My favorite was the tuna crisp which is absolutely a must try. The Island roll was chefs kiss. The lounge area was a vibe. Chris runs the bar and took great care of us and the drinks were amazing. He’s a cool dude to talk to. Going to try Thursday night for girls night for the drinks in the lounge area. All in all this place is a must try!! 10/10!!!
