It happened while we had friends visiting from out of state—we decided on Taiwanese-style hot pot, and what a wonderful dinner it was. From the great appetizers and drinks to the rich, comforting soups, everything was spot on. Our server, CoCo, was attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. We highly recommend the Iced Smoked Plum Juice; you’ll never forget the balance of plum sweetness and smoky fragrance. The hot Oolong tea was also equally refreshing. We tried the Chief’s recommendation – Jiao-Hou Jiao-Hou, the numbing pepper sauce with smoked tofu, beef shank, seaweed… absolutely remarkable! 5-Spice Popcorn Chicken was also a fantastic choice, especially with an icy cold drink. We ordered 2 Hot Pots, a traditional Chicken Herbal Pot and the Taiwanese BBQ Sauce (Sha-Chai) Pot; we thought we were visiting Taipei. We can’t waiting to come back for another delicious adventure!

This was only my second hot pot experience, so from what i know (which is little), this place was AMAZING! As soon as we walked in the door i knew this was going to be great from the smell). I wish i was able to give a 10/5 stars for service and food. The atmosphere is definitely a 5. What i enjoyed most is that this type of eating makes you social with other tables. The professional hot poters* were willing to help and make suggestions with the menu and how to eat. The rookie hot poters* took refuse in each other being new to the culture. The restaurant just makes you be social. As an out of towner who doesnt know anyone in Tucson socializing was very welcome
The waitress (i wish i could remember her name because she was phenomenal) had also provided great recommendations on food and wine. She made our party a great sauce from the sauce bar…ooooohhh and the chicken dumplings appetizer she suggested were amazing as well. I could go on forever, but yessss in closing, dont leave this world without experiencing this restaurant!

This place is hands down the worst hotpot restaurant I’ve ever encountered, and it’s beyond me how they’ve managed to stay in business. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disastrous. The restaurant was hosting a reception, which turned the atmosphere into a loud, chaotic mess. Despite ordering well before the large group, it took over 30 stupid minutes just to receive our pot of raw ingredients – something that should have been quick and simple. Once we finally got our food, it took another 10 insane minutes to even get it cooking. To make matters worse, the staff seemed utterly incompetent and careless. We had no napkins, no water refills despite several requests, and they couldn’t even get the bill right, forcing us to wait while they fumbled around. Even a decent appetizer can’t salvage an experience this miserable.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST – it’s not worth your time or money.

This was my first visit here and I was very favorably impressed. The food was excellent and the presentation made it a memorable experience. This is not a quick meal situation. Plan to take time to savor both the flavours and the process.

This was a great experience. I love tofu, and this was no exception it was fermented with greens, and our server advised on the sauces to go with it. My husband had pork chops and a bowl of noodles. I believe our servers name was Sophie. She was so patient with us as it was our first time in and very knowledgeable and so kind. The young man who kept my water filled so many times was very nice too.

We have never been to a restaurant like this and the staff was really helpful and easy to talk to about mixing up sauces and what bowls to get. We enjoyed our 3 bowls the vegan, the hot and spicy, and the seafood bowl. The 4th photo is the chopped pork and rice appetizer. Completely yum! Bodies all feel full and like we ate amazing food. Thanks! We will come back to try the sesame balls!

By far a great find while traveling through Tuscon. The service was excellent, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The hot pots is delicious. I definitely went à la cart. The ribeye with the spicy hot pot was amazing, added some udon noodles & tofu was a perfect mix for me.

This was my first experience with a hot pot. It’s an interesting concept – you choose one from the menu (I got curry), and they bring you a pot with some vegetables, broth, and a few side plates with mysterious things (battered shrimp, rice paper covered meatballs one pork and one beef, and a fish cake – all raw), and a large plate of your chosen meat (I did chicken) which is also raw. You also get either a bowl of rice or noodles (noodles need to be cooked by you – I don’t know about the rice). The vegetables and broth go on the burner at level 3 or 4, and you wait for it to boil. Then you can cook your other raw stuff in it. It’s quite confusing as to what is raw and what you cook and for how long. I personally thought it was interesting but a contamination hazard, especially if the server is not clear about all of the things brought out. I guess I am not used to having raw chicken put in front of me. There is also a toppings and sauce bar to get dipping sauces from. That was also interesting. I would have thought if you were cooking everything in a hot pot of curry, that’s your “sauce.” This is a good experience to have once, but I probably won’t do this again. If I am waiting 15-20 minutes for food, then I have to cook it for myself for the same amount of time (an additional 15-20 minutes) I might as well have ordered an already cooked dish that comes out in 15 minutes and have eaten it by the time a hot pot is just finally boiling. Seems kind of lengthy to get to an edible cooked meal.
