DO NOT SKIP! Great service! Great outdoor terrace!! AMAZING FOOD!!!
The chicken and waffles benedict were the best I ever had: the perfect crisp on their original recipe waffles, paired with delicious spiced chicken. The chilaquiles were also out of this world. Delicious freshly squeezed orange juice was the cherry on top. Our server Arnold was wonderful!
TLDR: just wait in the line, it’s worth it

The food, service, and atmosphere were great. The garden area is beautiful. The only drawback is the insanely long wait times. Had to wait more than an hour for brunch on Sunday. The food was served very quickly after ordering. Maybe they can add an option to join wait lines in advance. They did give us mimosas during the wait which was nice on a hot day.
Both the French toast and the fried chicken benedict were very good. And large portion sizes too.

From the moment you walk in, it’s like a secret garden. I had brunch, it was a Sunday and the line was long- but worth the wait. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend it, there were so many delicious dishes that it was hard to choose

Super long wait on a Saturday but soooo worth it for a beautiful patio with zen garden like surrounding and delicious food. I would get here early if you want a good seat outside. The service was order at a counter and sit down with a table number, $60 for 2 entrees including tax + tip

The whole experience is worth the wait. Line moves quickly and the food is great. Super creative sweet plates and flavors that really punch in the savory dishes. Highly recommend- we went on a Sunday – in line at 12:25 and we got our food 12:53.
Sir outside upstairs if you can

Husband and I came for breakfast, wait was an hour in a half but we had already committed 35 mins and stayed. The poke nachos were out of this world!!! ITS BEEN 2 months and we both still talk about them. If we lived in the area we’d come more often. We both ordered the chilaquiles, I got red, he got green. Chilaquiles were a little mush. As someone who eats real homemade chilaquiles often, the favor was there but they definitely make a large pot and serve it up that way. Green was better than the red. Vibes were there. Definitely a cool place, worth the hype. 🙂

We discovered Eggy’s Neighborhood Kitchen when they first opened, and we return every chance we get. The owner is truly one of the best, and his team brings his vision to life with top-notch flavor and consistency. The Poke Nachos and beef tacos are our all-time favorites, always fresh, tasty, and absolutely delicious. A neighborhood gem that never disappoints!

We had family in from out of town, and I was looking for someplace great to take them. I asked a friend that is an award winning chef in Berkeley, where would be a good place to take them for brunch. She didn’t hesitate to recommend Eggy’s. Brunch on a Sunday can mean quite a wait for a table, but it is well worth the wait.
I had the steak and eggs, and my girlfriend had the Cal Bene with potatoes. We all had mimosas, except my brother, who doesn’t drink. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. While indoor seating is available, we opted to sit on the patio, as the day was gorgeous.
If you haven’t been to Eggy’s, do yourself a favor and go. Great food at a reasonable price makes it a place we will be going back to real soon.

We celebrated a 50th birthday today, and started with the 1st destination Eggys. We stood in line to be seated for about 15 minutes, but admiring the atmosphere made the time go by fast. We ordered, The bottle Mimosa that came with a 3 juice flight, Chicken Bene, Chiliquilies, Tres Leches French Toast, and A Brie Omelette. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was on point! Would definitely recommend this fabulous establishment!

It was good, but not my favorite ↔️
Food: Avocado Toast had red pepper on top which was a bit spicy, and the toast as a whole didn’t really blend well with the ingredients on the top. On the other hand the breakfast sandwich my bf got, which I forgot the name of, was pretty good! It is the taste you would imagine when you think of eggs, hashbrowns, and bread. I loved how crispy the hash brown was. Also I loved the orange juice
Service: There was just a long wait. Maybe about an hour to get seated. And after getting seated you have to wait too. Also, I wouldn’t really say that the employees were nice. They just looked very tired.
