Reviews
The restaurant was very neat, clean, well organized and very comfortable. They also have an outdoor dinning area which wax very clean too. All staff were friendly, well dressed and displayed a happy and friendly attitude to be working.
My daughter looked up a place and found Eggsquisite Cafe. As we walked in we were promptly greeted by the host and taken to a booth. A really nice young lady Ms. Annie R., was our waitress. She was very warm, friendly, and sweet smile.
She brought our menus, took out drink orders which we had water and a cup of segafredo coffee, which my daughter really liked.
When Ms. Annie, returned she took our order she got the Monte Christo sandwich, with hashbrowns, for $13.99, my precious darling had the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich, for $13.49 and onion rings, for $1.00 and I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, with french fries, for $14.99.
The Monte Christo sandwich, and hash browns were very delicious and the spear of dill pickle which was a pallate cleanser. The chicken cordon bleu, was well portioned with chicken, ham, and cheese, the onion rings were well seasoned crispy, hot and very delicious. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was well portioned with beef, green bell peppers, the fries were crispy, well seasoned and piping hot I got so full with the fries I only tasted my sandwich which was so very delicious.
This was a very nice place to eat, and hope to see you there.
We ordered a variety of dishes that ranged from good to completely bland.
• Good Dishes: The chicken carnitas skillet and the gravy omelet were tasty and satisfying.
• Average Dishes: The house coffee was unremarkable, and the hash browns and seasonal pumpkin spice toast were just okay.
• Disappointing Dish: The grits were extremely disappointing. They were entirely flavorless, lacking any salt, butter, or seasoning, and tasted like plain hot cereal. Served like warm.
Overall Eggsquisite Cafe excels at speed and friendliness, but the food felt inconsistent. While the main dishes were decent, but the sides like grits lacked a complete flavour profile. It ultimately felt like a standard American breakfast spot, similar to places like Cracker Barrel, with efficiency being its strongest selling point rather than unique, flavorful cuisine. I wished for a bit more care in seasoning and adding some salsas instead of boring sauces to the eggs and other dishes to make the dishes truly memorable and palatable to cater for larger crowds.
Our server wasn’t friendly or very knowledgeable. Shy, maybe? Not really sure.
Anyway, not a place I’d come back to.
