Eggspectation in Christiana is a must for brunch. The cocktails are incredible, creative, well balanced, and easily some of the best brunch drinks around. Food was just as good, everything came out fresh and on point.

Huge shoutout to Tee, our server. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better without ever being overbearing. The atmosphere is modern, bright, and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed but elevated brunch.

We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

We went there for my birthday, and it was a wonderful breakfast! Food was delicious, the only problem we had was coffee – it was not hot, but still tasted good. I wish they had something for a birthday, like a coffee and a small piece of cake, that would be very nice.

The brunch at Eggspectation is ! I snapped this plate and it looks like a masterpiece. The dish is a vibrant breakfast bowl topped with two perfectly sunny‑side‑up eggs sitting on a bed of mixed veggies—tomatoes, jalapeños, and some greens—all drizzled with a creamy herb sauce and sprinkled with fresh parsley. On the side, there’s a golden, buttery French toast that’s got just the right flavor.

The presentation is on point, and the flavors look like they blend bold and fresh—savory egg goodness with a little kick from the jalapeños and a rich, herby sauce that ties everything together. It feels like a balanced, hearty brunch that’ll fuel you for the day, whether you’re hitting the gym or just chillin’ with friends.

Overall, Eggspectation nails the brunch vibe: tasty, Instagram‑worthy, and definitely worth a visit.

My first impression did not go too well. I didn’t mind the wait time but the issues was the food. It took so long for it to come out that I was close to calling the manager. None of the food was hot. My steak was lukewarm and my eggs and potatoes were almost cold. And I feel like the portion if potatoes could have been bigger. And the waiteress wasn’t really attentive. Hope my next visit is better.

A nice open environment with a unique menu and wonderful staff. The service was very efficient and friendly and overall the experience requires me to visit again. The only thing they need to do is update their online menu to.match the in-house menu. I was anticipating getting a Prime Rib which they no longer have bit was happy with my Lamb Chops.

Food and service were great despite how busy things were. Wait times seemed reasonable and not too long. My toddler wasn’t fond of the electric dryers in the bathroom and asked why there wasn’t a stool at the sink in either of the non accessible restrooms we visited.

Sweet staff. Food was good. The grilled shrimp and calamari was my favorite. The shrimp and grits lacked smokey flavor and sausage. Portions were good. I woikd return to try other entrees.

Went for brunch and had a good experience. Food was really good. Drinks weren’t great, especially for the price, but overall food was yum and service was nice. Shoutout to our server Audrey, she was nice , pleasant and smiling throughout , checked in on us, made sure we got our orders and was excellent. The employee who greeted us was also nice, he came and opened the door for us when he saw us with stroller when getting in, and the an employee saw us when we were getting out and she came and helped us out of the door as well. Had an excellent overall experience inside a restaurant after a long time. Thank you and hope you continue to grow in excellence.

WAY TOO LOUD. If you want a sports bar backdrop to your breakfast/brunch, come here.
Ridiculous noise level, barely able to hear to request a table, and then could barely hear our server and vice versa. It was a very frustrating order and follow-up experience. Never mind relaxing & holding a conversation during a unexpectedly long wait for a Sunday brunch.

Food was fresh. Pancakes crisp, omelette nicely cooked, but salad came out without dressing. Had to then yell to request it from our poor server. Drinks were never offered to be replenished during the 45+ minute wait, either the paid beverages, nor the water.

Now we remember why it’s been a year since our last visit, which was the same amount of LOUD but on a weekday. Its a shame because poutine is great & unique and not really found on this coast, their drinks are inventive whether alcoholic or not, fresh juices…

Noise level and need for acoustic renovation reported to corporate because OMG
