Food and service is really good. Food portions are large and are reasonably priced. Mostly breakfast options but also a good selection of lunch choices, like sandwiches and burgers. Breakfast tacos were great and I subbed the house potatoes which were very good. Daughter loved the American burger! Can’t go wrong with this place if you are in downtown Salt Lake.

We visited Eggsburgh two days in a row for breakfast because it was near our hotel. Eggsburgh is a cheerful restaurant with an extensive menu. My husband ordered the 2×2 breakfast or two eggs, two meats, and two pancakes. I ordered the two egg breakfast which came with a choice of two meats, hash browns or potatoes, and toast or fresh fruit. On the second day, my husband ordered the whole hog omelet. All orders were a lot of food and very tasty! I especially appreciated the fresh fruit since it is difficult to eat healthy when on the road. Our server, Gwen, was a delight. Highly recommend.

Gets very busy because it is very good. Service is quick. There is a small section of counter seating for singles. Absolutely love all of the creative spins on Eggs Benedict, French Toast and Pancakes.
Nice large windows with high ceilings in an airy historic building connected to the haunted Peery Hotel.

Americana breakfast and cafe environment. The breakfast is the classic greasy spoon. Fruit side is one slice of 2 types of cantaloupe and 3 pieces of pineapple that had the thorns. Eggs and hash browns were delivered lukewarm. The hash potatoes tasted off and they offered to comp the meal and bring a replacement. The only non-greasy item I saw on the menu was a bagel. So they brought a plain bagel enjoyed with plastic packaged generic jam. For that plain bagel with coffee I was charged $12.55! I didn’t realize my meal was not comped until saw the charge on my credit card. They don’t provide a paper charge. They hand a tablet with the tip amount so you don’t really see what you are paying for. Sneaky! If you like the service and food of an overpriced 50s style diner, this place is for you!

Easily the best breakfast experience I’ve ever had—hands down! Not just in Salt Lake, but anywhere. The steak bowl was massive and absolutely delicious. My fiancé ordered the eggs Benedict, and the egg was perfectly poached. The place wasn’t crowded at all, and the food was a solid 10/10. I honestly couldn’t recommend enough.

Fantastic interior decor, pleasant waitress, and hearty food with great portions.
Had the meat bowl of potatoes, scrambled eggs, decadent Swiss cheese, green peppers, onions, and bacon/sausage ($16). It was very filling, not overly salty, and worth the price! Paired it with a glass of peach juice which was super fresh.
Would gladly visit the staple brunch restaurant again.

My husband and I are here for breakfast two of the days we were in Salt Lake and really enjoyed it! They had a great selection of food and we both got different things on both days and it was all yummy! Can get busy but the tables turn quickly! Only had to wait about 20 minutes one of those days

Great breakfast, brunch or lunch spot downtown, steak and eggs, omelettes, and Juan’s tacos are solid winners, good portions and delicious food served by friendly and attentive servers prepared with care and quality. Espresso is okay, nothing to write home about however their fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing – stick with citrus drinks, they are very good. Fairly busy on the weekends but not too long of a wait, and well worth it. Highly recommended.

Such a cute spot in downtown Salt Lake! Always busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The food was decent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere is charming. Great place for a casual breakfast or brunch. Closes by 2 every day, so go for an early brunch. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros ($13) with Turkey Bacon (+$5) and avocado (+$3). The turkey bacon was not worth it, otherwise, a good start to the day. They serve bottomless coffee ($4), and even send you on your way with a to-go cup if you want one; adding a nice touch to the experience.
