Vega was the BEST server! We wanted new silverware 3 different times and he knew before we even asked. Let us try a special drink since we didn’t know what to order, and was such a sweetheart.
I got the Texical bowl!! ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR!! 10000/10 Definitely will come back! And the donuts as an appetizer.. YOU NEED TO GET THE DONUTS!

We decided to give it a try today being Christmas eve did t know if it would be busy. It wasn’t busy @ about 10. Server was great (grinch hat) quick service even though it was a little slow waiter kept us in the know. Brought our kids food out first which normally I don’t like but it gave me enough time to cut their food before mine came out. So it was perfect time between.
Food was good and everyone left full. To leave clean plates from everyone doesn’t happen in our house with 2 kids. We like the pick 3 option of the kids menu, did have a request for pineapple in the fruit cup.
Cleanliness between tables could be better we had squished fruit under our table from the people before us.
But got the check and made things better we haven’t eaten out at that price range in awhile. We will be back for sure. Love that it’s on the right side of town not so much traffic.

We visited Eggs Up Grill around 9am on a Saturday and waited about 30 minutes for a table for two. Once seated, our server Allie immediately stood out. She was upfront about extended kitchen delays and made sure our drinks were always full. Her attentiveness and honesty easily earned her five stars for service.
Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the same standard. It took roughly 35 minutes to arrive, and when it did, both of our omelets were large but lacked flavor and came out lukewarm. The potatoes were almost cold and not at all crispy, and the croissant donuts were just average. For the price, the wait, and the overall quality, the experience fell short of expectations.
At this point, I wouldn’t recommend Eggs Up Grill to others. That said, because of the excellent service we received from Allie, I’m willing to give the restaurant another try at a later date. Hopefully next time, the kitchen can match the level of service the staff provides.

Visiting family that lives here. They had never tried this place . So here we are . 1-18-26
I really wanted to love this place .
We we arrived , we were greeted and told it would be 10 mins for a table . We did have a decent size party . It took just over 30 mins .
Staff seems unfriendly and unimpressed with their job.
Everyone ordered a variety of food. I can not comment on all of it .

Pancakes were decent and fluffy
Sausage links and patties are delicious
Potatoes look seasoned but were bland as hell .
Gravy tastes like a standard bag mix of gravy . Biscuits flat and hard .
Scrambled eggs – meh
I went specifically for the shrimp and grits breakfast.
Shrimp were so over cooked that I thought they were made out of rubber .
Grits so thick , that when I tried to eat it, they wanted to come out all like a ball of glue . Garlic toast was hard and cold .
Egg on top was decent , cooked to my liking .
Bacon was asked multiple times to be crispy by others in the party . Bacon came out half raw , sent back and still floppy . So she gave up.
Server was overwhelmed with work. It took no less than 10 minutes to get drinks .
Tea is so weak , you would think it’s water .
Prices are very decent tho .
Unfortunately, when we return to the area , we will not be back .

One of the only places in town to get shrimp n grits and they were amazing! Server was attentive and friendly. Portion size was great for the price. This side of town is lucky to have this place.

We waited quite a bit for our waitress to come greet us and get drink orders (over 5 min) and when she did come she put flatware on the table and went to the table that came in after us and got their drink orders. She brought their drinks then got our drink order and we waited about 6-7 minutes for our coffees. She finally came and got our order after she had gotten the other table’s drinks delivered. (Again, we came in before them by several minutes) Meanwhile people all around us that came after we did got drinks, refills, ordered, and got their food before we even ordered. The food came out pretty quickly (delivered by someone else) and it was disappointing. I got the Classic Eggs Benny and my husband got an omelet. The eggs Benedict was not good. The hollandaise sauce was tangy in the worst way. The home fries had great flavor but were lukewarm at best. Getting the ticket was a minute also. I won’t be back.

Their prices are amazing! Very affordable and very yummy! Yes their wait time is long, but that’s expected when they’re a new establishment with many customers. Yes their kitchen takes a little longer because they’re brand new and learning how to work together. Overall their food and servers are amazing and very friendly. The first time I went I had an amazing server named Aisha. She was reassuring about the wait time for the food, she was funny and very humane. Loved her! This last time I went I had a server named Vega. He’s very lively and helpful! I love this restaurant and I will keep coming back!!

While there was a little wait time today, I can absolutely not agree with some of the reviews on here, especially when people say that they worked as a server before, because as someone who waited tables before, i know that certain situations are out of everyone’s control and require just a little bit more patience on the costumer’s end. This was the case today. Our server was the sweetest and handled the situation with so much professionalism, even the owner Juanita came and checked on us and she was such a sweetheart as well. Part of our order were the fried donuts and I so recommend them to everyone, they are a must, so delicious that we could not stop raving about them, and even though the rest of our food took a little bit longer to come, it was absolutely amazing and therefore totally worth the wait. Every ingredient was fresh and the atmosphere was just beautiful and inviting. This will be our new go-to breakfast spot, i would give 10 stars if I could.
