Food: very dry lacked flavor only saving grace was home fries were well seasoned
Atmosphere: quiet no music not great for start to day
Service: I felt that my server Je’Naum did not treat me with the same value she treated other people she waited on. She also instead of just up charging me an item for four dollars 50 cents gave me a six dollar plus tax to go item instead trying to make it seem like that was the better idea. I told her coffee was overly bitter and I did not drink mine and she didn’t show care or take off bill either but treated other customers sitting all the way on other side with a smile laughs and grin. She paid more attention to getting herself and workers cups for drinks they decided to make for themselves then her one customer (me) I believe this was due to me being in a beanie and shirt and oversized pants because she looked me up and down and already acted like she thought less of me but I had a $20 cash tip waiting for my server today because today was a hard morning for me and I could’ve appreciated good service but instead I left her no tip as I didn’t feel valued and I was charged extra $1.50 for no logical reason.
Other info: instead of keeping my biscuit free of charge with meal and giving me my $1.99 pancake add on to meal and $2.50 side of gravy to equal $4.50 add on total —— I was charged $7 for a pancake (PC) up charge from biscuit when that should’ve been free and charged for Togo biscuit and gravy full order cost of $5.99 before tax- my server knew what she was doing she was trying to make total higher to get higher tip at normal tip out % – she did this selfishly
Also my omelette was extremely dry and had barely any cheese even after paying extra for more cheese (2 different types) and I had 4 small pieces of avocado – it was remade but the egg inside that was folded up was overcooked and I just took rest of it to go as I was upset.
Pics show: very little cheese and a few small pieces of a single avocado strip making it dry before remake
Other pic shows the name of server and charges.
The food? Outstanding! Every dish was prepared with care and had that delicious, homemade taste. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the fluffy pancakes and fresh ingredients in every meal, I couldn’t have asked for better quality. The portions are generous, and the presentation shows that they put pride into every plate.
The atmosphere is also incredible – cozy, welcoming, and perfect for starting the day on a high note. The decor is charming, and the layout is perfect for families, friends, and solo diners alike.
If you’re looking for top-notch service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Eggs Up Grill, Bailey Cove. The owners have built a gem of a restaurant, and it truly shows in every detail. Highly recommend!
Be aware they only serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
First day opening! Lots of staff standing waiting for tables to attend.
Lots of space, varied selection booths and tables. Bright and clean. Looking forward to their patio expansion!
Food was hot and good.
Server was new, suggesting she needs to pay more attention to her tables to serve customers needs (ie refining coffee).
We enjoyed our time.
