I had an amazing experience at Eggs Up Grill for breakfast! The atmosphere was perfect for families, and I really enjoyed the family-friendly vibe. It was clear that many locals love this place too, as I saw several groups of people dining together.

It’s definitely not the worst but not the best experience. They do have gluten “friendly” pancakes. I told the waiter that I’m very allergic to wheat. He informed the cooks right away. I’m feeling jittery, which is the beginning to a reaction in my body. Sometimes I’ll just get jittery. Sometimes I get so high the room spins till I pass out, depending on the amount of wheat I consume. The pancakes weren’t full of flavor. No vanilla bean, like IHOP. Even with the blueberries, they are really bland. The people who work here are what makes the experience not so great. They aren’t inviting friendly. I asked to sit where I can charge my phone. I was told I couldn’t charge my phone while sitting. They didn’t ask if I wanted a booth or a table. They just wiped off a table and said “here”. I stated that I would rather not sit in a table. I don’t see why I can’t sit at the booth with the outlet to charge my phone. She told me to sit where I’d like and I plugged my phone in and sat down. The waiter was efficient in taking my order, but I didn’t receive the happy welcoming interaction. The woman wiping tables was speaking very pesimisticly about their lives. I had to request a refill of water as the waiter returned to set a ticket on my table without offering more water. I’ll probably be back because it doesn’t seem like there’s many gf options in the area. Maybe grits and an omelette would be better? The cook just came out and she gave me a great big smile. That way the best interaction in this place! I wish that they were all that great!

Eggs Up Grill is a great value. We came here almost every morning we were staying at Pawleys Island. I recommend the Classic 2 egg breakfast. Great price for the serving. The omelets are huge and also a great value. Come here, ready to get your tummy filled.

We have always enjoyed breakfast at Garden City and decided to stop by for lunch at this location on our bike excursion. The place had a steady flow of afternoon traffic with wrap around outdoor seating and comfortable booths inside. We decided to share the Grilled Chicken Wrap (do note the pic is only half of a wrap) with a grilled tortilla wrap, grilled chicken crumbles and ranch dressing on the side. A pickle and a choice of a side comes with it. Portion was good, grilled texture and taste appealing, but overall amount of ingredients lacking. Grilled chicken amount seemed to be more of salad topping. Service was friendly and fast.

If you’re like me, you’ll be eggstatic about this fine establishment. There’s clearly someone(s) in the kitchen who have mastered the handling, preparation, and culinary execution of gallus gallus domesticus ova. Which is to say, they can probably cook you a chicken egg in ways you have yet to think of.

We took our dog out for breakfast. He had a hamburger, my husband had a breakfast bowl. I had crab meat patties on pouched eggs. The service was extremely good. I recommend this restaurant.

We all enjoyed our meal and our server was great! However the lady who delivered our food got rude when my husband and cousin told her items on each of their plate was switched. She made a face and suggested that they just switch the food themselves. Other than that we had a good experience. Only waited about 20 min on a sat morning.

This particular location was FAR superior to the Shallotte location. Chef was 5 for sure! Home fries ‘seasoned’ with bacon grease (but not greasy) for an amazing flavor showed the cook/chef really knew their way around a kitchen! Food was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee could use some help but that is the only thing. Even bathrooms were nest and tidy. Great place!

I wish we had come here sooner because this is easily the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time and I’m sad that this is our last morning in the area. I would have loved another chance to try even more of the delicious menu options. We got the cafe mocha which was large, so so so good, and tasted like a decadent coffee hot cocoa with a cute whipped cream topping. For food, we got the homestead platter, the crab cake Benedict, and a blueberry muffin. After yesterday’s breakfast at the Applewood, I was really hesitant to get another crab cake Benedict but this place is everything the Applewood wishes it could be. The homestead platter had delicious biscuits and gravy (I even liked it and I usually hate sausage gravy), sausage, and crispy, smoky bacon. The crab cake Benedict was flavorful with a perfectly poached egg, deliciously rich hollandaise, soft and slightly crisped crab cake that wasn’t too fishy, all on a crisp garlic bread base that complemented everything nicely. The accompanying fruit cup was very fresh with flavorful fruit and a splash of orange juice, which was a nice accent. The blueberry muffin was perfectly sweet and delicious with toasted edges and a soft, crumbly middle. To make our visit even better, our server was very kind and friendly despite being very busy and having to deal with the table of Karens next to us that said quite rude things to and about her. I would’ve lost it on them but she stayed so friendly and unbothered it was impressive. We ate outside on the patio and it was beautiful, shady, and clean.

While in the area we visited this location twice. The first visit encouraged us to come back. We enjoyed a delicious and fresh tasting meal with efficient and friendly service. That was 5 stars.
