Have been coming here pretty frequently and the last 3 times have just been weird. First two time had the same server, felt like she was annoyed with us the whole time and rushed us to leave. Most recent, today, had a different server who just seemed… out of it. He asked if we were from florence then turned and walked away as soon as we said yes. Asked if there was any sugar for the coffee and he said they were out then brought sugar later. When he refilled the coffee he pressed the pot against my arm which could have been prevented if he hadnt reached it across the table. He kept calling me buddy which might be a personal thing but felt kind of rude. Everytime we go and ask for a box were given comically small boxes. Like can barely fit my food even if i just pile everything up, which is annoying to do because I didnt really want to mix all of my food into one. You can see in the photos we had to pile up all my husbands food which, if he wanted a bowl he would have ordered one. With mine I always have to wrap up my muffin so my gravy doesnt get all over it. The food *is* good when we get it and it doesnt take very long but the wait staff is just so strange it makes the experience uncomfortable. They always seem overly hyped up or antsy. The host are always very friendly though.

Eggs Up grill is my go to place on the weekends. Today I tried an item off the new Holliday menu, the Melty Cristo. It was delicious! My side was the home fries I get crispy. I sat at the bar so I didn’t have a dedicated server, but all of them made sure I had what I needed. I do have a favorite I usually sit with but I would sit with any of the weekend crew. I order different items each time and haven’t had anything I won’t order again. If I’ve had a problem, the kitchen always makes it right. I’ve introduced many friends to EU and they have thanked me!

Plenty of seating. However our order was not correct, the food was cold and our waiter spilled ice tea all over us. I understand accidents happen but the mistakes on the food needs to be fixed. Decent prices though.

I usually enjoy the food here, especially the corned beef. This time, I came in for lunch today and ordered the chicken fried steak and a coffee latte with whipped cream. I asked the staff (T was the first letter of her name) for a teaspoon so I could stir my coffee, but she told me it would only come once the food was ready. I don’t think she understood that the teaspoon was for the coffee, which should have come with it in the first place. I’ve never had a problem asking for something so simple before. What’s the point of serving a coffee if I can’t drink it until my food arrives? While she seemed friendly to other guests, I didn’t feel the same courtesy.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime

This is a pretty consistent go to spot for breakfast for my wife and I. We really like to stop in late morning or lunchtime for a little bit of breakfast. They’ve got very good coffee and a bunch of innovative dishes in addition to the classics. Their blueberry pancakes are absolutely terrific!

I visited this location this morning to pick breakfast for my family as we were passing through. It’s your typical breakfast spot, they have your basic breakfast items. But they’re done right. You get the same food at just about every location I’ve visited. So A+ on quality and consistency. However, my bad review is because of the lack of customer service received whole picking up my food. The person at the front counter was engaged with the phone or iPad watching videos for 14 of the 15 minutes I was there. No acknowledgement, no positive attitude. She just seemed bothered that I was there. And when I wanted to check my bag for utensils before leaving, it was a problem. I don’t know if she had a bad day today but this isn’t what I expected from this establishment. If I hadn’t paid online for my food I would have left.

Came in this morning with my wife for Valentine’s breakfast like we do every year. The service started off great but things went sour near the end of our dining. I have a dairy allergy and they seemed to be annoyed with having to accommodate me. Next my classic breakfast platter was cold and the eggs were missing. My wife never received her grits and the bill at the end had extra charges. The first had food items added we never ordered. The correction to our bill was also incorrect, there was a upcharge of nearly $10 extra. I had to personally instruct them about the food being wrong, as well as the bill being incorrect. The staff seemed to have a very negative attitude towards us , and we will be looking for another place to dine from now on. This is the eggs up grill in Florence SC , very disappointed

I always enjoy my experience when I order from here. The scrambled eggs with cheddar are so good and perfectly cooked. The customer service is awesome and the young lady at the hostess desk is so effortlessly pleasant. This is my favorite breakfast spot in Florence. Please don’t change!!!

A colleague and I had breakfast here while visiting for work. Our waitress, Taylor, was very friendly and attentive. I had The Classic and a Sweet Cream Vanilla Cold Brew. My colleague had the Hashed Benny. Both were delicious and arrived quickly. We also ordered their special Apple Strudel Croissant Donuts which were dangerously delicious! I ordered regular croissant donuts to go. Highly recommend this breakfast spot.

Eggs up grill is a nice little diner. The food was good but the could of used more staff as service was good, but slow. Our server just had a lot of tables. The seats were dirty when we sat down and had to ask for the syrup and trash from previous customer be cleaned up first. It did appear the hostess was more occupied with holding up the front desk and her phone. We will try it again as the food was hot and flavorful.
