The Eggs Up Grill is open for breakfast and lunch. It’s clean, near, and pleasant. Our server, Maddie, was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent.

There are two rooms for private parties.

The restaurant is kid friendly and wheelchair accessible. I recommend Eggs Up Grill.

If you want consistency with great food and service, this is the place to visit. The staff are amazing. 60% of the time, it works every time.

I sit at the bar 10–15 times a month, and they already know what I’m ordering before I even settle in. That’s elite-level service. The team here makes you feel like you’re part of the place, not just passing through.

The manager is absolutely on top of his game. When the background music went out (and it got mind-numbingly silent for a bit thanks to some electrical issues), he was all over it and had it handled quickly. Attention to detail matters — and he gets it.

They always keep a large bottle of Eric’s Red Hot Sauce (premium Frank’s, obviously) ready to go, which tells you everything you need to know about their priorities.

I’ve visited every Eggs Up Grill in the Columbia area, and this one is the best of the bunch. If you want some sass with your sauce, a quiet place to handle some business, and the best way to start your day, this is it.

And shoutout to the chef (I think his name is Pierre) — that young man plates breakfast like you’re dining at a Michelin-star restaurant in downtown NYC. Presentation matters, and he brings it.

Hats off to this phenomenal staff and establishment. There is nothing like it.

P.S. Save me a “Man Fork!”

If you’re in Columbia, SC you definitely need to stop by Eggs Up Grill!

Everything about this visit was on point. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. It just felt like one of those places you can actually relax and enjoy your meal.

But what really made the experience stand out was the service. Cheyanne was amazing. She was attentive without hovering, made sure we had everything we needed, kept our drinks filled, and checked on us at just the right times. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in her job.

Great food, great environment, and truly great service. We will absolutely be back!

One of the best spots for breakfast in Columbia, SC. Chayane (sorry if I messed your name) was her 2nd day being a server and she was AMAZING! Food was delicious, hot and well prepared. Clean place, great for large seatings. Definitely recommend.

Nicole gave us a fantastic experience. We are visiting from Ontario Canada and this was our first breakfast in South Carolina and not only was all the food great tasting (albeit a little spicy home fries/sausages for my taste ha ha), but Nicole was so fun and friendly especially for my husband who loves to joke around. She was super attentive, let him try a sample of grits to make sure he liked it and brought me a to go cup for my orange juice and added a little American Flag on the waffles for some added flair. All of us want to come back here while we are visiting, so glad we came! The decor is fun, bright and friendly and the washroom was clean! Thanks again!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Eggs Up Grill on Devine Street!

From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch—friendly, quick, and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and the portions were massive. I actually had to ask for a to-go box before I even took a bite because I knew I wouldn’t finish it all!

Shout out to Keia for a fabulous experience!

The vibe of the place is cozy and comfortable—perfect for a laid-back breakfast or brunch. You can really tell the team takes pride in what they do.

Parking can be a bit tricky, but that’s more of a location issue than anything they control. It’s worth the effort!

We can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in Columbia, SC, you need to try it. We’ll definitely be back!

Our overall experience was good. The service was great – our waitress was friendly and helpful in making recommendations. Tue atmosphere was nice. We dined in the back room. It was a quiet and personal dining experience. The food was well prepared, and some items lacked seasoning. Our banana foster French toast was on the well side, which made it a little tough. The Belgian waffle was light and fluffy. We will visit again in the future.

Good, plain, and inoffensive food selection in a clean and open atmosphere. It feels sort of upscale and chain-like (though I’m not sure if it is a chain), so if you have picky eaters in your group, they won’t be weirded out by anything here.

I really enjoyed the egg counter on the wall. That’s was a nice touch.

The food was awesome! I’m a big breakfast fan. I ordered the classic breakfast with a side of sausage gravy. My scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy, the sausage was plentiful, and the gravy was tasty. Even the coffee was good! Daughter got pretty much the same meal, only poached eggs, which came out soft like she requested. Companion ordered a pecan waffle and hash and eggs. She wasn’t particularly thrilled with the hash, but the waffle was crisp like she had asked and tasted wonderful. I had a piece and agree. The service was a little lackadaisical, but not bad enough to keep me from coming back.
Edited 3.7.26: I went back last Sunday. I ordered the chicken Baja omelette and some kind of orange cream spritzer type drink. I don’t recommend it- the taste was bitter. But I highly recommend the omelette. It was very tasty! The chicken had a little char on it that upped the flavor and the orange crema complemented it perfectly. The crema was so good that I dunked my home fries in it!The service was excellent this time.
