This was a good place for breakfast. My only thoughts is to improve the taste of the grits. I had 2 eggs, grits, bacon and toast. It was good but was presented like any diner. My wife had the potatoes and they were very salty. Other than that it was a good breakfast. We will come back because of the service!

Very yummy! We were in this side of town and wanted a good breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were very good! I can’t speak on the coffee. I looked and smelled good, but already had a couple cups today. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the extra carb cakes were awesome! I would suggest a swing by for a good breakfast in a fun setting and great atmosphere

Cute, quiet, local breakfast spot. Super friendly staff. Clean and spotless. Service was fast. Food came out hot and fresh. No complaints here. We don’t live in the area but will definitely make a return visit when we are in town!

Classic breakfast diner. Tried my favorite breakfast dish, a country Benedict. I also tried the garlic grits, comes with cheese and bacon. The grits were ok, a little too garlicky for grits, probably should’ve went with home fries. The Benny was tasty, the biscuits were small so it made for a smaller serving my big back did not approve

Eggs Up Grill recently opened in Monroe. If you haven’t been you must go! But be warned it gets busy. We went for breakfast and there wasn’t an empty seat inside the dining area. We had a ten-minute wait before getting seated. Everything we ordered was delicious and freshly made. The amount of food you get per order is worth the price. The only bad thing was the coffee. It had a burnt taste to it. But other than that everything else was good.

First time in, my husband got the Homestead Platter (eggs, sausage, bacon, fried potatoes, grits) and got sausage gravy biscuit on the side. He ate every bite because it was so delicious! I got the Classic breakfast with English muffin. Hubby and I both agreed the best eggs ever had, the most perfectly made bacon and sausage, grits are creamy and tasty, biscuit was old fashioned taste, like grandma’s. Coffee was smooth and rich. The butter they provide for you to spread on breads and biscuits is slightly sweet and tastes like the best Irish butter brand. Going back to try so many things I wanted to eat from the big menu, lot’s to explore for breakfast, brunch or lunch on the menu. Clean, friendly and definitely going to be a regular!

Great new breakfast place in the Sun Valley area (it’s where Poppyseed Bagels used to be). Really like the new layout of the new restaurant, seems like a lot more seating than Poppyseeds used to have.
Everything we had was very tasty! The crème brûlée French Toast was my favorite! My son loved the croissant donuts and biscuits and gravy. Really everything we had was tasty and love that they have a few unique options. Caramel Apple pancakes were also a big hit! Definitely worth trying out!!!

*Updated to 4 Stars! Tried out Eggs Up Grill again and had a excellent experience. Really stepped it up from the last time I was there and will highly recommend it. Everyones food was top notch and had no problems promptly getting the food to us and the check at the end. Keep it up I will definitely be back.
Previous Review: Eggs up grill a new restaurant in the area my family was excited to try. Walking in really enjoyed the lighting and decor. It was busy around 9am on a Saturday and maybe waited 15 minutes to be seated. Not terrible at all. Problem came when after ordering took 45 minutes before we got our food. Even when the food arrived was missing items like the fried chicken for the chicken and waffles. It’s breakfast really should never take that long to make omelettes or fried chicken and waffles or anything. Food was well cooked and excellent. If they could work on there cook times will really raise the bar on this restaurant and be able to push it into the 4 to 5 star status. It is new so will most likely work it out and will definitely be coming back.

I was able to pop in for the grand opening. There was lots of fanfare For the event, Which added to a terrific atmosphere. I enjoyed the caramel smile to drink and strawberry shortcake pancakes. The drink was yummy and the strawberry shortcake required a bigger appetite and And a bigger sweet tooth. I look forward to popping back in and trying other things from the menu!

For a chain restaurant, it feels like a local diner, specializing in breakfast and lunch, great food, great service amazing coffee, and still a good value, excellent food to price ratio. Inside outside dining with a great deck to overlook a small lake.
