Cute little cafe, grabbed breakfast here before my train downtown. Service was kind and quick, food was good, coffee was tasty. I got the veggie omelet with jack cheese, subbed fruit instead of potatoes, added a side of tomatoes, and cottage cheese. The tomatoes were sad and whitewashed but that’s how it is everywhere now. My moms dish was delicious, she had the banana bread french toast. If you like any of those words then you NEED to get this.

Wow! I really wanted to get this place a good review. I walked in and saw how small and clean it was. I requested a table away from the door and she said they didn’t have one although I could clearly see there were two open tables. So we sat by the door and got tons of fresh cold air every time someone came in and out. I ordered scrambled eggs, chicken with green peppers and a few other vegetables. The vegetables were uncooked and hard to eat. The dish was not hot when I got it. Lukewarm at best. The chicken was very dry. The only highlight of my visit was the pancake was very fluffy and good. when finished, the waitress came up and asked if everything was OK. I proceeded to tell her about half of my eggs and chicken that I left, and she just walked away.

Skillets (veggie with swiss) is my go-to breakfast choice. Some people may like their food separated, but I enjoy it all together! Staff is busy but helpful and attentive without being annoying. Coffee is fresh, hot, and not watered-down. Potatoes are fresh homemade cuts, not frozen.

they have a delicious breakfast and lunch menu. the pancakes are very large which i love (i usually get a short stack) and they have yummy BLTS, chicken tenders, etc. The inside is also very bright and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly and always remember me! I highly recommend eggcetera cafe!

Great service and food. Friendly waitresses. On the weekday I visited there were plenty of seniors gathering for breakfast and lunch. Good coffee. Clean restroom. Parking is a bit strange.

Reminds me of an old time diner. The restaurant walls hold many pictures showing the different eras of surroundings. Portions were large, tasted good, and reasonably priced. Service was fast and friendly.

Cozy, quaint and vibrant place to enjoy a delicious meal. I had the Denver Omelet, Hash Browns and a giant Pancake. The Pancake came with two types of butter ; regular and a cinnamon infused one. Sooo good! The staff was very attentive, but not intrusive. Definitely coming back, since prices are reasonable and it’s only 10 minutes from New Lenox, where I work.
