Absolutely Terrible. If I could give a zero star rating I would.

I try to give this place a go once every few months thinking maybe next time it will be better. Its not.

Won’t make that mistake ever again.

It took over and hour to get 2 breakfast dishes. I had to get up to get my friends coffee filled or it never would have been filled up again.

Waitress was nice but terrible at providing service or even offering to comp a meal that was an hour late….it had broken Hollandaise sauce, and dry hashbrowns that were so thin and overcooked you could see thru them. Food not hot enough to melt cheese. And not very much flavor. Thin ham wet English muffin like it had been sitting with the hot food on it until it all cooled down waiting to be delivered to the table.

I used the restroom while waiting and waiting for food. Floor and toilets were filthy and then wouldn’t flush. I used my elbow to open the door.

If they leave the public facing areas that dirty I can only imagine what the kitchen surfaces and pans are like. And its hot in the dining room. They turned on the AC 30 mins into our hour+ wait. Its obvious they are cutting cost everywhere but enough is enough. I’ll travel the 12-15 mins from my house to go to IHOP where its lightening fast delicious and the same prices. I wouldn’t go back to the egg station if it was FREE! I try to support local businesses but I won’t go here EVER again. Its been consistently bad over and over and its was so terrible this time it cured me of “going somewhere close”

This place delivers on the promise of a solid diner breakfast. I had the southern French toast which is done griddled biscuit style. A half order is two pieces. That was plenty for me. My friend had the catfish and french fries. Ate every bite!

I used to live in Imperial lakes so I went here a lot. It was great we loved it. Service was always good food was always good. I went there this Saturday with my kids. We walked in at 10:35 am we were told we could seat ourselves all good. We waited a while for the lady to come take our drink orders. She did and brought us our drinks and took our order. At 11:30 we were still waiting on our breakfast, The place was not crowded. In that time of waiting she never once came and checked on us, or apologized for the wait. All of our drinks were bone dry, finally the food came out and she brought three of the 4 meals. Said the other would be out soon did not offer to get our drinks refilled. She was gone before we could ask. She brought the 4th meal and was running away when we asked please can we get some refills, she said of course. 10 minutes later we see her walking around on her cell phone still no drinks no apology or anything. Food was not good and certainly should not have taken 45 min. Some of the worse service I have every experienced. I got the bill and they charged me extra for paying with a card, for 3 breakfast meals and a kids cheese burger is was $76, this is insane and the service was a joke. I normally do not leave bad reviews you can check my google. I left no tip but I should have left a penny show she would have known it was intentional. Now she probably just thinks I am a cheapskate, which is not true I always tip well and respect my servers. There was a short hair older lady on the other side who seemed like she was taking care of her customers but we had the taller lady Josephine and it was not good at all. Missed the way it used to be run, it was a good place. Looking at the more recent reviews now I should have saved myself the time and the money and you should as well.

First off I ordered coffee, the little creamer cup I used came out chunky. I checked the expiration and sure enough it was over a month expired. After checking the whole little container they had on the table all but four were expired including one that expired 12/25. This was on 2-28-26!! We should have left right then but we still ordered. We waited an hour! Omelet w/ homefries, half order of biscuit and gravy w/eggs and sausage link and oatmeal w toast. Took her 20 min to ask if I wanted a refill on coffee it was 40 min in to tell me they only had apple and cinnamon oatmeal. I requested to leave off the oatmeal. Finally she told us the food was almost ready. We asked to just have it bagged to go. She still tried to charge us for the oatmeal. Total was $48. My husbands $18 omelette looked liked it was made for a child it was so small. He didn’t even try it he was so mad at the whole situation and my son would only eat the gravy from his biscuits so we cant really say how good the cooking was but I can say for sure we will NEVER return and WILL speak TERRIBLY about this place every chance we get. We’re new to the area so wanted to see what’s out there locally. We did try Egg Factory that’s right down the road and they are AMAZING and CLEAN! GO THERE INSTEAD!!!!

THANK YOU FOR SERVING US TODAY! We came in today to enjoy a much needed hot meal as a family after we’d been cleaning up debris and working 14-hour days on top of not having water or electricity. Yes, you were busy. Yes, we had to wait a little. We even made a few substitutions to our order. Your staff was incredibly kind, even when they didn’t have to be. One person complained about the wait, being more than 20 minutes and having groceries in their car, and your server offered to put them in the fridge for him. Who does that? Seriously, who is THAT kind-hearted to try to help a stranger out? It’s too bad the guy didn’t want to wait. He missed some very good food! Your servers are clearly going through the same as the rest of us, but they came to work and made it a brighter day for a lot of people. Thank you so much for all you do!

If I could leave negetive stars, I would! We went for breakfast, and when served, it was the most unappetizing table of breakfast food that I have ever seen. Just gross. The omlette was so dry, and the cheese inside was not melted, you could literally see that it was still a square piece of cheese, the gravy was thick and nasty, the “hollandaise sauce” was thick and nasty and tasted nothing like hollandaise sauce, it was neon yellow?! the toast was cold, served with cold butter (you butter it yourself). The food was not seasoned, the “homefries” were chopped potatoes thrown in a deepfryer and literally filled with grease. I could go in with how gross the food was, but why?! I had to use the bathroom while there, I walked in and walked out, I couldn’t bring myself to use it. It was absolutely disgusting.. I have seen cleaner bathrooms after last call on a Saturday night in a college town hole in the wall bar. Walking to the bathroom caused me to pass the kitchen, that was a mistake it was almost as bad as the bathroom. The tables were sticky and gross. I let our waitress know our thoughts on the food, and she made a joke about how “it sucks when your food comes out like that” and laughed. I dont know how they have returning customers. I can not imagine that this establishment is up to code. There are so many more gross observations that were made while waiting 40 minutes for our less than subpar food, I truly think the health dept needs to make a random stop, if not shut down this establishment completely. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

My table came with a surprise companion in the form of a small cockroach. I named him Richard. Richard stayed on the ground and did not bother me.

The waitresses are as nice as can be. Very friendly and attentive. The eggs Benedict were ok. The flavor and texture of the hollandaise sauce threw me off but that’s probably just personal preference. The home fries were a mushy mess but they tasted alright. This place wasn’t my cup of tea, but I’ll admit that it has its charm.

Key word in biscuits and gravy is gravy. It was a soup. The biscuits were more like dumplings. The hash browns were under cooked and mushy think instant potatoe. The meat in the gravy was a mystery. Only recommendations I have are save your money and eat any where else. Never have I been disrespected like that before.

The staff is always amazing and friendly. I absolutely adore Ms. Angie. She knows my drink and has it ready practically before I walk in the door. The food is great with considerable portions and a smaller price than most. Thanks Egg station for giving me an easy choice to go to for my breakfast! Update: still just as amazing! Great food and prices!

This was our first visit. We decided to stop because of the 4+ star rating. It’s a good old boy kind of place with local regulars. I had the Country Benedict, it was okay, my egg was a bit rubbery. My wife has a blueberry pancake, it had fresh blueberries and she loved it. Josie was our server, she has a great personality but could have been a bit more attentive with refills. The Southern Biscuits (modified French toast) sounded better than they tasted. We likely will not return.
