Went in for a little lunch, nice place pretty clean sat down right away. We ordered some diet Cokes so bonus for the drinks. Waitress was really nice I ordered the nacho salad without the chips it was pretty good and Mama got a breakfast burrito on special. It’s a little noisy inside but the food was good.

I recently visited Efren’s in Santa Maria and had the pleasure of trying their aguachiles, and a Molcajete. The flavors were fresh, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice. On top of the amazing food, the service was top-notch. Alondra was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. I’ll definitely be returning, and recommend this place to anyone craving fresh, flavorful seafood and a great dining experience!

This place is my very favorite for tasting closest authentic to home made food! My fave that I’ve had is their quesa Birria tacos, beans, Shrimp Cocktail & Michelada. The shrimp are devained cleaned up. Fresh tasting! They give generous portions on the Cocktail shrimp where your actually getting what you paid for! Ricardo is very friendly. If there is something you’d like different they do their best to accommodate your dish. My husband likes their tacos Dorados tripas.The cooks do an amazing Job and all are so kind if you need anything. Fyi. I added the extra shrimp that was a side. But still had so many in the cup!

Food is below santa Maria’s average. The pricing is absolutely ridiculous. $10 for a bean n cheese burrito and $5 for a soft drink is robbery. My family has been here 80+ years and this is by far the biggest disappointment.

Portions are massive lol great value for the money. Staff isn’t overly nice, they’re fast. So not overly kind service, but nonetheless great service! Appreciate that! And they stay busy so that’s fine by me!

I was very skeptical about coming here I thought it was going to be really good but honestly the food was really cold. The tacos were cold and saggy . There were no napkins in the table. Our server was not attempted at all. They just kept talking to other customers in the bar we kept waiting for our drinks. I was very disappointed.

A delightful Mexican restaurant adjacent to a gas station. It’s next to a fast-food sandwich shop and a convenience store. It’s a counter-order operation, with ordering right next to the grill. A decent selection of Mexican foods with ample amounts of food for a very good price. For my burnt-out taste buds, mild-to-medium spicy seasonings. Decorations are traditional, with a vivid mural depicting a typical Mexican town. A convenient place to drop in for a quick, delicious meal.

Your lucky I can’t leave a half star. You would think that after ordering food to-go it would at least be warm. Had to reheat at home in my microwave, and I don’t even live far. There wasn’t a line and yet I had to wait at least 30 minutes.
