Michelin restaurant is where it seems their seafood tacos came from. I tried their shrimp and fish tacos yesterday. The fish and shrimp were the freshest you can get! The fish and shrimp were seasoned and cooked to perfection! The tacos don’t come with cabbage or dressing, which I added. They provided ranch dressing on the side so I was able to put just the right amount on each taco. The dressing is not to strong and not to thick. It goes with seafood perfectly! I put one row of dressing and their red hot salsa on each taco. They were the best seafood tacos I have ever had. In fact, I’m going to blow my monthly dining budget and go back today for another 8-tacos!

Tried calling from outside of the store to make an order, saw the owner answer my call and immediately hang up on me without speaking after 20 minutes of trying to get through. When I got my food the fish had freezer burn, and was as dry and about as flavorful as cardboard. Not going back.

Food was very good but a couple of things could be improved. Ordered posole and got two very small pieces of meat with a ton of hominy and a little bit of soup. Flavor was good just would have wanted more meat and soup. Rice was ok, meat was super tasty in the tacos.

Had the chili Verde tacos and chicken tacos. Tuesday is taco Tuesday 2.50 each. Excellent flavors! Totally would recommend and definitely will visit again. Staff super nice and welcoming.

Efren’s in Oceano has great food! We had Camerones a la Diabla and Shrimp Tacos and both were amazing. If you can’t handle the spice, you may have to let them know or go somewhere more vanilla, cause the sauce was fire. The prices and portions are on point, with plenty of room for indoor dining. Order at the front and seat yourself. Get out and check it out! I give it 5 ️ ️ ️ ️ ️

I ordered the Chile relleno, my friend had the same but with meat. She liked hers, I thought mine was OK and it seemed like it was premade and reheated as the batter was soggy and warm not hot if it was just out of the fryer. Music was too loud to have a decent conversation. Seems like it’s a local hangout – not for me.

The woman there was incredibly rude. They gave me the wrong kind of tacos. She argued with me about what I had ordered. I wanted pastor tacos and they gave me chicken. I asked them to fix it and instead of remaking the tacos, she brought out a dirty plate with some cold pastor meat on it and a dirty fork buried in the middle. She proceeded to slide the plate in front of me and then walked away to make a phone call on her cell phone. She never checked back in and refused to acknowledge us for the rest of the time we were there. I have never met somebody so rude in the service industry. This is the type of service you can expect.

We Love Efren’s. Their enchiladas are great. However, the quality of their food has really gone down. Today my Flautas were not good. The chicken was so dry and hard that it seems like they used left over chicken from a week ago. Biting into them pulls all the chicken out because you can’t bite through it. This isn’t the first time I have received them like this. I will not be ordering them from Efren’s again. The consistency is erratic – sometimes the food is good and other times I’m upset with myself that I chose them for dinner. Like now for my lunch.
