Loved funnel cake sundae, warn funnel cake made fresh super friendly staff. I highly recommend that they warm up brownie for brownie sundae. May be we can request it? I don’t like cold brownie with sundae although portion was due was huge!

Effie’s is hands down the best place to go for ice cream or milkshakes! The flavors are incredible, the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. Sometimes there’s a line, but it moves quickly and is absolutely worth the wait. If you’ve never been here, you’re seriously missing out! It’s a MUST TRY spot that never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Our go-to is the funnel cake sundae, and it never disappoints. It’s the perfect combo of warm and cold, crispy and creamy just unbeatable!

Love the funnel cake sundae, blue berry ice cream was awesome, but brownie sundae had cold brownie I wish they serve with warm brownie. I would recommend that you ask

tl;dr: Busy location with delicious desserts off the side of the road that was worth a stop on the way back from Shenandoah.
Lemon Italian Ice – 5/5: The lemon Italian ice was delicious and so smooth for Italian ice! I was expecting it to be hard to eat, but it was so incredibly smooth without becoming liquid.
Vanilla Soft Serve – 3/5: Standard fare soft serve. Makes me think of McDonald’s soft serve – or Dairy Queen. It’s pretty big for the small size we ordered.
Accessibility/Parking – 4/5: Located just off the highway going towards NOVA, there was a lot of parking, but also a lot of people in line, which was why we wanted to see what was going on. The line moves very fast though and the desserts came out pretty quickly after that (may have been what we ordered though). Lots of seating as well. Great hot summer day retreat.

If you are driving down 15/29 then you need to make the pit stop to Effee’s
Customer service is SUPERB and the icecream even better. I love that they have seasonal and weekly flavors so you’ll always be entertained and never bored. Prices are very inexpensive so it shouldnt hurt the wallet at all when the kids say “Daddy we want icecream!”

These guys are amazing!!!!!! This is the best family dessert place. I loved it. Our whole shop only has good things to say about these hard working heroes. Also, fun fact: its actually very hot in there shop so all those hot days they are keeping you cool, they are sweating.

Delicious ice cream, but i didn’t hear them ask if I wanted nuts and they put nuts on it anyway. I also explicitly asked if the blueberry sundae was blue, and they said yes, but when I got it, it was purple. Still 5 stars though. Forgot to take the picture before I mixed it though lol
