I treated my family for Valentine’s Day during lunch and the food was as amazing as I remembered. We received our appetizers and main courses very timely and fast.
Also, the renovation inside was beautifully done and I loved the new bowls they had for the curry and rice. They definitely elevated their dinner ware! I enjoyed the music they had which was modern and not loud enough where I couldn’t hear my group.
We ordered pho, chicken & shrimp red curry, drunken noodles, and fried rice. The only thing I wished was for our waitress to check on us more than once after serving our food. We did need more water and napkins eventually. But other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant as it’s been my dad’s favorite.

Nicely remodeled and clean! The table arrangements were more suitable than the previous ones. Our red curry, eggrolls and spring rolls were all delicious and cooked perfectly! The food was nicely prepared and presented. We would have given 5 stars if the waitress checked more with us for water refill and paid more attention to our needs.

We have always ordered takeout, this time we had the food there and I’m glad we did. The food has always been phenomenal, but it was even better having it there. The remodel looks great!! The service was exceptional and all the food was so, so good. Everything is made to order and knowing this, I don’t mind waiting a little extra. I would highly recommend EE Sane to anyone looking for great cuisine.

Lovely Thai restaurant and it was very busy on Saturday night with a 30-45 min wait (not too bad considering how many groups were waiting). Food took a slightly longer time to get to us due to being busy, but we were smart and ordered appetizers although the appetizers didn’t seem to come early enough since the main dish was served quickly after we waited for a bit. Highly recommend the crab rangoon, it’s some of the best in the city!!! I would recommend getting the medium spicy level if you can handle any heat like say ttebokki level as the mild was super mild. Our table got drunken noodle, pad Thai and Mussaman curry. The free water came with a lemon & cucumber in the big bottle if you’re a fan of that. Overall, food was decent, but I am going to try the volcano dishes next time when I’m there as I was super jealous of everyone who got a sizzling hot plate of food at the other tables! Also I really loved the decor inside!!!

Last night was probably my 200th visit to this restaurant, so my review is WAY overdue! They just reopened after remodeling. The facelift was overdue and it looks great! The restaurant is bright and inviting. We were greeted by the friendly staff and quickly led to a table in the large dining room. Our waitress was very friendly and enjoyed my attempt to practice my Lao. I ordered Tom Kha soup with shrimp and Basil Noodle with chicken. My guest ordered Lad Na with shrimp. My soup arrived shortly and did not disappoint! Delicious and spicy! I ordered all of my food at a spice level of 7 on a scale of 10. That is not for the faint of heart! Our entrees arrived 10 minutes later. Both were excellent! The Lad Na has a nice, smoky flavor. The Basil Noodle is sweet. We had a nice conversation with the couple next to us who lived in Thailand for 3 years. They mentioned how delicious and authentic their food was as well. The prices are very reasonable, too. Ee Sane is good for the stomach and soul.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the food we did manage to receive was actually very tasty which honestly makes this experience even more disappointing, because I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, the wait times were unacceptable. It took about 20 minutes for our appetizers to come out, and although I had ordered chicken wings to pair with my papaya, those didn’t arrive until another 15 minutes later. By then, we had already eaten most of the appetizers, so I was saving the papaya to eat with my main course. While we were still waiting, the waiter asked if I didn’t like the papaya and why I wasn’t eating it, then asked if I wanted it boxed up.
After another 30 minutes, we still had not received our main courses. I’m not unreasonable, and I don’t mind waiting if a restaurant is busy but during the hour we had already been seated, the tables around us were served their food. What ultimately led us to leave was seeing tables that arrived after us receive their main dishes while we were still waiting. After over an hour, our appetite was gone, so our party of two decided to leave. As we were paying, we were asked if we wanted our main dishes packed up, even though only one of the two main dishes was ready at that point.
I hope the service gets better over time, as the food itself is actually very delicious and has a lot of potential.

This was one of those places that surfaced for me in my Reddit finds during recent travels. Decided to stop in today and I was decently surprised. Decor was cool, nothing too memorable. Service was awesome, very attentive team time I stopped in was late lunch not too busy at all. Best thinga I enjoyed, were the soup like a housemade concoction very tasty. Thai Iced Tea was on point with a nice added decor touch. Main entree was #3 Pad Bar Mee, egg noodles stir fried with vegetables and beef. Noodles were great full of flavor what turned me of was there was a section under the noodles of vegetables that was completely cold. Made me wonder if the vegetables were frozen and thrown in for flash fry that didnt quite hit the correct temperature. Overall decent spot, low thrills, but you should decide for yourself.

The newly remodeled space offers a clean, attractive atmosphere, but unfortunately the food and service did not meet expectations. While a few items showed promise, inconsistencies in both quality and hospitality ultimately detracted from the overall experience.
I decided to visit the restaurant after its recent remodeling, and the refreshed interior is excellent—modern, clean, and inviting. However, the food fell slightly below average. I ordered the Paneng Curry, but the vegetables were undercooked and difficult to chew, and the broth was watery and lacked the richness and coconut flavor typically expected from this dish. The eggroll was enjoyable and the accompanying house sauce had a unique profile, though it wasn’t particularly memorable. The fish batter was well executed, but the vegetables it was served on were burnt and the sauce—similar to the curry—was bland. The papaya salad was a highlight, prepared in the Thai style with a clear sauce. If you’re looking for the brown sauce, they don’t have it. The white rice, however, appeared to be browning.
Service was the primary reason I would not return. While other White guests were provided checks at their tables, my guest and I were instructed to go to the bar to pay, resulting in a noticeably different and disappointing experience.

Food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. If you like spicy Thai food, this is your place to go. We Ordered the Volcano stake at level 6 of spiciness, anything above this level probably will be incredible spicy.

Discovered EE-Sane on social media a few weeks ago & stopped in for lunch with a friend. Everything we tried tasted fresh & flavorful! The lunch special was a great deal – an entrée & soup or egg roll for around $11. The service was on the slower side, but I found it to be appropriate & nothing of note. Pictured is the Thai iced tea, which was delicious. Will definitely be back!
