No pretension, no frills, no BS. For eight bucks and in this economy, the chicken sandwich is one heck of a value. It is packed generously with chicken and the right amount of fixings. The restaurant itself is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Though you are in Northern VA you feel like you could be in Latin America (orders are called on a microphone with a charming rather loud echo). Cakes and desserts look good and are displayed proudly next to the ordering counter. It’s a good sign when there are few customers who look like foodies, but instead humble hard working people who are hungry. Looking to trying the Peruvian chicken, sweets, and enjoying the vibe soon.

The reason why I’m giving it to starts is I ordered the steak and chicken plate with fries and salad . I also preferred and drink and dessert total was $34. The size of the steak was so small I could eat it in 2 bites . This is not oaky for the price highly disappointed . Also told them I’m allergic to onions and they put onion rings in my food ♀️. Also no salt on the food at all . The chicken was delicious though very well seasoned .

I was looking for some chicken to eat, I was in this plaza and I said I will try this spot, u smell the chicken from the parking lot, we ordered Street Tacos and a quarter of a chicken, very well seasoned, ( THE CHEF HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE BECAUSE HE LOVED HIS JOB,) as I watched him chopped the chicken in halves!!

I used to love this place DOWN! It was my favorite chicken spot of all time but today was my last straw ever since they reopened from the fire they had a few years ago the food has gone downhill! Obviously management has changed and the chicken and fries just dont hit like it used too. I drive over an hour just to get the food but today I noticed their sauce was awful. basic generic yellow mayo sauce not the sweet yellow sauce they’re known for and for that I’m done. It breaks my heart (for me its that serious lol) but its just not worth the drive anymore, I have given this place multiple chances and each time the food is underwhelming

Rotisserie chocken was good n flavorful – salty for me but i like it. the steak taco was a disappointment – I didn’t pay $ 9 for a burned hard overcooked steak taco – on the 1st taco the burned meat was tough I can’t swallow it but just chewed on the meat and spit it out. The 2nd and third one are the same – only a small cube 1 or 2 not burned the rest are burned hard and toasted

Edy’s Always Satisfies! Some of the Best Peruvian chicken around. Edy’s has been a Must-Have for my family and me for years and years.
The flavor of the marinated chicken and steak is always So Delicious! I love their chicken sandwich, too… the bread is So Soft, and the whole sandwich just melts in your mouth. Their ‘green sauce’ is my favorite of all the places I’ve been!
Also try their desserts; their flan is Super Yummy and Rico, and their Tres Leches is Excellent as well. You just can’t go wrong with Edy’s! Nice atmosphere, and Great Eats. Visit once, and you’ll find yourself going for years to come – Trust!! Desfruta/ Enjoy!

This was the worst Peruvian chicken that I’ve ever had unfortunately because of this last experience, I am going to be keeping proving rotisserie chicken off of my list. They had no healthy options on the menu. Everything was fried they had no bean, no corn. They also had very filthy bathrooms. I almost slipped on the bathroom floor because it had been mopped, but the water was very greasy. The rice was tasteless. Everything about this food screams, bad quality, cheap and tasteless. I do not recommend this to anybody that’s looking for a true authentic Peruvian, rotisserie chicken.

Edy’s Chicken and Steak is, without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite spots! I’ve been a loyal customer since the mid-90s, and their food has always been worth every mile of the journey. Back when I lived in Maryland, I would happily drive an hour to Virginia just to enjoy their incredible chicken sandwiches. Now that I live in California, it’s become a tradition to go straight from the airport to Edy’s whenever I’m back in town—and let me tell you, the taste is just as amazing as it was decades ago.
The quality and consistency of their food are unmatched. Every bite takes me right back to the first time I tried it. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection but the chicken sandwiches are what I go for. The flavors are timeless and comforting, a true testament to their dedication to excellence.
Beyond the food, the staff is another reason Edy’s stands out. They are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, making every visit feel special. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves exceptional food but also treats you like family.
Edy’s Chicken and Steak is a gem that has stood the test of time, and I’m so grateful for all the delicious memories they’ve given me. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and make the trip—it’s worth it!

Edy’s was the first Peruvian Chicken spot we tried when we first moved to the area (2003). It became the standard by which good Peruvian Chicken was made. The locals there will probably tell you “there’s better charcoal chicken places than Edy’s”…but Edy’s to me is the standard.

I have been coming here for years and hands down its the best service and chicken. They give you what you pay for and more. Its warm and fresh cut. They do not re-use chicken pieces that are leftover from other orders. There are some chicken restaurants that do these for their benefit.
I highly recommend coming here, you will not be dissapointed. Their desserts are delicious!!!! I will be back soon. Thank you for the service you provide do not change.
