We’ve been coming to Edoko for 3+ years, now. Daughter and I tried it after eating at the ramen place next door. I still find their traditional Japanese plates lacking, but their sushi/rolls/sashimi always please.

It’s now routine for us to eat here for birthdays and celebrations. We came for lunch today (more on why later) and as usual, wife ordered a couple of pieces of everything. The fish is always super fresh (as can be this far from any ocean) and creamy.

We ate at lunch today because Edoko was closed, for Thanksgiving. But someone in management forgot tot ell online reservations this, so we DID have a reservation for Thanksgiving… so, whomever dropped that ball, we were a little miffed to drop by only to find you CLOSED.

A full meal for three, involving plenty of a la carte sushi was $250 with no drinks. Pretty normal for us.

Special thanks for the gift of bluefin, from the chef. Appreciated, sir. Our server, Sonya, was an utter delight, and had such amazing nails!!

Good place for a company lunch….they get you in and out with swift service and LOTS of delicious food….gosh the rolls are so good and good flavor fresh you can taste and good price…..place is quite enough to talk shop and still enjoy comfortably…..just look at the colors and the size and the presentation….low key its an under ground gem…..great job!!!

It was one of those nights where my anxiety was getting the best of me and I didn’t want to be alone so I walked in 30 minutes before closing and asked if it was okay to still have a meal, the hostess looked at each other and just nodded.

I sat at the bar and I was greeted by I think his name was Sergio (im sorry if I remember wrong) he was super nice and helpful while I decided which wine I wanted for the night, not only that he assured me that it was okay for me to order a full meal since I was just going to order appetizers and to take my time eating.

I gotta said maybe it was my crappy day but this was so much needed and so worth it!

Wine was delicious I had a random pick and it was delicious

Tofu- So freaking good! Get the trio hot sauce that I was given because that just compliments the dish ✨

Udon- the noodles were a bit too chewy for my liking but overall good flavor.

The tempura is pretty good.

Cucumber salad was refreshing and light

I will definitely be back for the tofu

The sushi was very good, service was excellent, atmosphere is nice, appreciated how much they were spacing groups from each other, and got to enjoy some nice conversation with one of the sushi chefs. We tried the French kiss roll, tuna tower, the green hulk, and the shrimp dynamite roll. All were good. Hubby really enjoyed The French kiss roll. I enjoyed the green hulk. All of the seafood seemed very fresh. The shrimp in the shrimp dynamite were delicious but it was smothered in a sweet, mayo sauce (too much).

We had THE most polite waiter here. I wish I got his name to give him credit. Had glasses and looked to be around 20. We were very impressed with his professionalism and service.

The food was so good. I especially loved the butterfly roll. It was low carb and kept me feeling full!

Parking in this area is very difficult. If you have a reservation I’d definitely show up 15 min early just to drive around to make sure you can find a place to park.

This has to be one of the most upsetting changes that has happened. My favorite and only roll that brought me into this store was the shrimp dynamite roll. In the past, there would be Jumbo shrimp on the roll; however, in recent changes that has came to an end. This should not be advertised as jumbo as there is nothing jumbo about it. I am very disappointed and will not be returning back unless this is reverted.

Service was absolutely awful and that’s primarily on the management (who was nowhere in sight). The poor staff was short staffed, with a packed house and only. The hostess was also seating people too quickly, causing an overload of customers in a short time span. Spent an hour and 40 minutes there and only saw our waitress/bartender 2 times and she was rude. We received more help from the other waitresses who were much more friendly. Management should have stepped up and come in to assist.

I had the miso sea bass and it was delicious. Definitely one of the best dishes I’ve had n a couple of years. My wife had a steak and mushrooms and that was also fantastic. I now have to come every week to try everything. This is awesome food. When you compare prices against other places, it’s really not that expensive and it’s the best for in town.

Bf and I wandered in for a date night after a night market in the area. We’re regulars at places like this near Frisco, so I’d say we have a pretty good grasp on the food we got.

I’d like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I’ve ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. The sauce was delightful, the outside was perfect with a crunchy bottom and soft top, and the filling was delicious. Well worth $7.

My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate.

I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura.

Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I’m used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn’t what I expected and wasn’t to my tastes

Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price.

I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.
