i lovedddd it second time here and every bite was amazing. The sweet prawn was the star of the show for me, the hand roll with the sweet prawn was also sooooo good. I love the ambiance and how well the staff treats you. The miso soup at the end is so delicious and just what you need to finish off the meal. I love this place soooo much. 10/10

Definitely a must-try for sushi lovers living in Florida. I can see why they are so highly rated and really enjoyed their Baller Set. Highlights of the night were definitely the Toro & Caviar, Shrimp & Eggs, OG Smash Temaki, and Unagi & Foie. I hear they are coming up with a new “omakase” set and am looking forward to returning and trying it out. Hopefully the new set has a temaki roll or two added so that I can try those next time.

Celebrated my birthday here and it was beyond amazing! The place is VERY small, 8 diners at a time, one hour time slot, and standing only. It is a super cool vibe every piece I had was so good and had fantastic flavors.
I did feel the 1 hour time slot was a bit rushed. Hour and fifteen would be perfect. It is a bit pricey but I feel that the quality more than justifies the cost.
HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be back here again!

Fun experience. Friendly staff. Good food. Yes, stand room only. Yes, you get exactly one hour. There parking lot in front of the place. Portion-wise, I think the everyday set itself is only enough if you are not too hungry. If you order 3 extra pieces (max allowed) and the dessert, then it should be about enough for an average stomach. My favorite piece today was the sweet shrimp (not torched).

My favorite omakase in Orlando!! 8 piece omakase for $45 (comes with miso soup). Gotta order the Madai, Blue Toro and Dynamic Temaki. The Matcha smore is the best dessert in Orlando, hands down. It is standing sushi bar and very intimate. It’s a simple restaurant with great food!

Just recently moved here and found Edoboy on Resy. What an amazing find. The customer service was top notch and the sushi was incredible, especially for the price. The toro was easily the best piece of the night. Buttery and perfectly balanced. I got a 12-piece in total, miso soup, and a beer, all under $110 with tip. Easily one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had for under $100. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Edoboy is an absolute gem. The food is more than excellent, it’s life changing. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu really. I recently moved away and miss it so much—now I always make a reservation here when I visit Orlando. Thank you for all of the wonderful experiences!

I can’t believe I have not reviewed my favorite sushi place yet. Whenever I’m in Florida I have to make a reservation here. I was even thinking about this place when I was eating omakase in Japan a few weeks ago!! I love EDOBOY so much RAAHH
It has the flavor and care of a really good omakase without the pretentiousness or a hefty price tag. An order of 12 pieces will run you about $80 per person. It’s a standing sushi bar (no seats) and fits about 8 persons per seating, which is usually every hour from 4-9pm. Dress casually. The ambiance is very casual. Reservations are a necessity! No reservation, no seat.
All of the sashimi quality is excellent. So fresh and generously sliced. But what sets EDOBOY apart from a typical nigiri experience, is how they craft every piece. The treatment of the fish and its accompaniments – whether it’s uni butter or flavored salt or foie gras – complement the sashimi so well. Every piece is incredibly flavorful and unique. Even the rice has a special sauce which makes it super umami.
Since it’s a standing sushi bar and reservations are back-to-back, the time limit to eat is an hour. It’s essentially the amount of time the chef takes to make 12 pieces of sushi per person, so the limit to order is 12 pieces (not including soup or dessert). If time permits, they’ll let you order more nigiri.
Don’t skip out on the soup or dessert by the way. The soup is beautifully made with fish collar and the dessert, typically a matcha smore, is made in house as well. Can’t wait to be back! (Hopefully soon)
Pro tip: don’t know what to order? Check out their online menu with pics of each piece of nigiri

I thoroughly enjoyed the omakase standing sushi bar experience at Edoboy. I think what I enjoyed most was that I got to pick out all of my courses and then if there’s time at the end then you can add on more. All of the fish was fresh and delicious. Some of the best sushi, nigiri, and handrolls I’ve had. It moved at a fast pace. The matcha s’more was soo yummy and a great way to end. They had a banger playlist on while we were there, which was fun. Reservation required and I’d recommend you book when the reservations drop for your desired date as there are limited spots and it books out quickly. There is a parking lot. Recommend and would revisit!
