Me and my husband came her as a spur of the moment on our anniversary and they did not disappoint. I always feel bad that I have to ask alot of questions due to diet restrictions/preferences and a bad tooth that makes it hard to chew sometimes but our waiter Andy was very sweet and very helpful. So big thank you to Andy for doing such a really good job, if you dont hear it enough you are awesome. We did decide to splurge and get more then we needed but id say the prices are pretty reasonable compared to where we are from so its even worth a trip 40 minutes from home, at least for us. It was comfortable and I think they have everyone spaced out just enough that you dont feel crowded so it gives you your own privacy to have a conversation without having to whisper or disrupt anyone around you. Great place I really recommend it.

I went on a date with my boyfriend to the hibachi side of the restaurant and it was the first time I’ve ever been to one. But I had the best time! And the food is absolutely delicious and so unbelievably fresh. 10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone

First time going to EDO last Saturday. I wasn’t wow’d with the decor but the restaurant was nice. Our server Ryan was awesome! I ordered a Shirley Temple which was delicious! We had hibachi on the grill which consisted of scallops and shrimp and my friend ordered filet mignon and shrimp. The lunch portion doesn’t come with noodles which was a bummer. Our hibachi chef was cool. He was entertaining. The food was ok. It wasn’t the best hibachi I’ve had and definitely not the worse. Just ok. I didn’t like the scallops as they had a fishy taste to them. You only get two which made me chuckle. Overall, ok on the food. 10/10 on Ryan. Will I go back! Maybe, maybe not….
The one pleasant surprise was the complimentary fried ice cream for your birthday. It was tasty. Never had fried ice cream before.

Had a great time at this restaurant. They handle a large party very well. It was about 15 of my coworkers. Your whole party must be there to be seated. When we got there, we had to sit at the bar while waiting for coworkers to come. The service was great, our drinks were delicious. Once seated, everyone ordered it was delicious. The entertainment was fun and the ambiance was great.

I really liked this hibachi spot! The service was good. We didn’t feel like waiting for the hibachi table so I can’t speak on the performance or anything. The only thing I didn’t like were the noodles with the hibachi meal and my boyfriend agreed. The dressing on the salad was also some of the best I’ve had. The steak was tender and the chicken was juicy. Overall, I’ll be back!

My family and I just recently stopped here for some lunch. We were a group of 3 for dining not hibachi. We ordered Tempura, clear and miso soup, and some sushi rolls. The food was delicious. Best clear soup I’ve had in a while and the krab wontons were excellent! The service was great, they were all very welcoming and the environment was beautiful. The place was clean and decorated nicely. Would definitely go again!

It’s a modern sushi bar, hibachi grill and alcohol bar with a low light modern theme. We liked the cool blue light spectrum and they had the air conditioning turned way down. Definitely bring a jacket to stay comfortable. The food is served in order as they have been created, so everything doesn’t come all at once. The teriyaki steak was delicious and the Fuji roll was amazing, highly recommend both!

We had a fantastic Mother’s Day lunch at EDO Sushi in Ocala, located at the Market Street at Heath Brook shopping center. Our party of five was looking forward to celebrating together, and although the restaurant doesn’t take reservations and another group with the same first name accidentally took our initial table, the staff handled everything smoothly and professionally.
We were quickly seated and enjoyed a truly entertaining and delicious hibachi experience. Our chef was not only talented but also incredibly fun—he kept everyone laughing while preparing perfectly cooked dishes right in front of us. The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented.
Despite the small mix-up, the great service, friendly atmosphere, and outstanding food made this a Mother’s Day to remember. Highly recommend EDO Sushi for anyone looking for a lively and satisfying dining experience in Ocala!

The food was the best Japanese steakhouse food I have eaten since New York City! I had had a shrimp Tempura sushi roll, and a hibachi lunch, do not judge I am thin, and everything was prepared perfectly! The spider roll had a large amount of Shrimp that was expertly tempura fried, and the rest of my scallop hibachi lunch was so delicious that I even asked for a to go box for what was left of my soup! The service was top-notch, and the whole experience was wonderful!
