Very good food, for appetizers the crab wontons were very good. 10/10 appetizer. Then came the sushi, the sushi was very good, the only sad part was that I feel like the TNT roll is the best one, even better than the expensive ones. I was definitely very full at the end and enjoyed it very much. The teppanyaki was also very good, the only thing I did not like was that after we ate our food, it felt like the waiter forgot about us. 5/5 for the food.

My family and I have lived in the Gainesville area for one year and finally decided to try this restaurant as we were looking for a great hibachi spot. The food was delicious, flavorful, and very fresh. Our server, Slater, was personable and was attentive to our needs. My family got the hibachi dinners and I opted for sushi and the combination rice, sooooo good! We will definitely be making this a staple spot for our family!

My first in this place and i can tell u the service is soo good! The girl who took our order! So kind so observant, she brought me water 4 times without asking! We didnt ask her for anything, she did it for use. She walk to our table every 10 minutes. Service was perfect 10/10

Was very surprised at how good everything was. Our server was excellent. Food and drinks were on point. Sushi was great! A new place added to the list of regulars. This is not mall sushi. This place deserves your attention.

We arrived full of expectations but the chicken teriyaki was such a disappointment! We been to lots of places and I would say this is the dish that is really hard to make it taste bad. But some how this place did! They did not grill the chicken and instead boiled it and poured sauce over chicken breast… the result was that the chicken was dry, hard, and tasteless. Service was nice but would be better with good food :,) salmon was also not very fresh, it wasn’t frozen but definitely been out for a while. The mango in the Hawaii roll was also really sour and hard :,) please at least prepare good mango! ( we ordered chicken teriyaki, Hawaii roll, avocado eel roll, salmon)

The waiter was very rushed. Felt like she wanted us out the door. I did not like the appetizer. But I did enjoy my sushi a lot. The sushi was great and the atmosphere was also great.

The NY steak teppanyaki is soo good. The vegetables with the sauces surprised me ! The udon noodles is very flavorful.

We love sushi and Japanese food so decided to have a birthday dinner here after reading the reviews. It’s conveniently located in The Oaks Mall, just a short drive off the I-75. Plenty of parking and easy to “walk off” your meal browsing the shops.
The food was fresh, very good quality and delicious. Although pricey, we would certainly come back. The decor is modern, tasteful and elegant. The service was good overall despite our server forgetting a few minor requests.
The ambiance was really the only “negative” aspect of our experience. The music was unfit and quite loud, especially considering the place was almost empty.
Although it may not seem to matter much, music definitely affects ANY ambiance. The impression and quality of the establishment would work best with calm instrumental music, played at an un distracting volume.
When celebrating our birthday dinner, we would have enjoyed our overall experience much more if suggestive R&B music wasn’t blasted throughout the restaurant. It’s surprising no one noticed until near the end of our dinner, when the music changed and the volume slightly lowered.
Overall they have a winning recipe if they consider ALL factors in the experience they are offering.

We’ll have been kind of on a sushi trend lately and I’m wanting to try sushi in a lot of different places.
We parked by the food court as I thought it was by the food court, ended up doing a big lap in the mall. It’s where the old ruby tuesday reataurant used to be. We were sat down right away by a friendly staff member. We ordered the usual appetizers amd a sushi roll, which was by far the best sushi I’ve had being new to sushi.
I ordered chicken teriyaki and the wife gotta combination teppenyaki we could not even finish all our food. There was so much of it. Definitely. Definitely. Recommend this restaurant if you love sushi and japanese food.
There’s a real modern vibe to it. Nice lighting, they have TV behind the bar. And on the wall. So you might get to catch a game or two.

Every single dish was incredible. The food presentation was excellent. The seaweed salad was delicious and they give plenty. I had sushi and sashimi also and the fish was very fresh and tasty.
The service here is great and the staff are very attentive and work as a team well. ☺️The environment is clean and there is plenty of seating, including party and private seating.
Take your time to check this spot out! It is worth it!
