The food was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was quite quiet when we were there that’s all. Very much enjoyed the food though (we went on a Thursday eve), if we are in the area again we will be coming back! Grateful for the birthday cake too, lovely surprise.

This place deserves to be more popular, the service and food is 2nd to none. The prices are lot cheaper than Birmingham china town restaurants. If you are thinking about going then don’t hesitate, it truly is great. The katsu chicken is hands down better than Wagamamas and the ramen is so tasty with loads of meat.

We had a quick take out, fast service. Parking can be a bit of faf, especially if you are popping in for a take out. So take someone with you and leave the car running. There is paid car parking not far but not worth it for a take away. Parking to the rear of the large building set but entrance here is on the pedestrian area. Can be busy friday to sunday. Food, I have to say was devine. We really enjoyed what we ordered and will definitely be returning. If you order directly it is cheaper than you usual take away apps like just eat or user eats etc. Photo to order online direct is in my photos. Top grub.

What an amazing place! The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The food was delicious which we enjoyed thoroughly.Cooked and served beautifully, with many options on the menu there’s something for everyone. Great portion sizes; they even have a little dress up area of kimonos.

Ordered takeaway from Edo and was impressed – the main courses were very tasty, and especially the Okonomyaki which is unusual to find! I prefer fried gyoza to the steamed ones available here, but the edamame were nice and the kara-age was tasty. The food was ready super quickly which was great, and service on collection was very friendly and efficient. One tip: order direct and pick up yourself if you can – we used J*st E*t initially and they were terrible with no driver available for over an hour, so we gave up and ordered direct, and had food in our hands 15 mins later!

Such a beautiful environment, so well set up. Staff are incredibly friendly and easy to approach, and the service was fast. We did go on a slow Wednesday, however.
We had Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, Ramen and a sushi selection. It’s clear the chefs are passionate about their craft, and that they care about the food they serve.
Will be dining here again for sure! Thanks Edo for a great evening

What a lovely surprise! I was dubious about going but so glad we did. I don’t understand why it wasn’t fully booked, Redditch is lucky to finally have a nice restaurant to go to! Menu was extensive but a little confusing for someone who doesn’t eat too much Japanese, but the friendly and knowledgeable staff helped out explaining what the dishes would look like and consist of. Really lovely, fresh food, presented beautifully in lovely surroundings. Looking forward to going back and trying something different! Definitely worth checking out.

Possibly the best restaurant outside a big city.
I’ve left the area, but still like to visit here two or three times a year. The sushi and other delights are wonderful.
The plum wine is delightful.
The restaurant has downsized slightly since last time, but there’s still plenty of space, Japanese dress wear if you desire and the food was still delicious.
It’s a short walk from the train station or you can park near the college, honestly worth a visit.
We’ve eaten in, but also enjoyed a delivery previously. It’s far superior to yo sushi.
Budget around £20 – £40 a head (there’s a set menu at £20 each). Four of us, with starters, huge sushi platter, another main, drinks and a bottle of plum wine was around £150

Outside the Kingfisher shopping centre, is this wonderful gem, all these years and I never gandered outside the centre during my visits!
All I can say is, that it is highly recommended. I went with a friend and their family and we have young children for lunch. We spent 3 hours there and never felt unwelcome or timed out. We were able to access the building easily with our pushchairs, and there is baby changing facilities.
Nearby, outside carpark is called ParkBee the Quadrant and decently priced and can pay at machine with card/phone/app.
The food is wonderful, and plentyful. Drinks are value for money.
We mixed and matched starters, ranging from octopus balls, karaage, bao, goyoza, chicken skewers. For mains, we had a mix platter, godzilla maki and crazy boy makis.
Bubble tea drinks, blueberry and Korean lemon honey. All absolutely fantastic and can’t really fault. The only thing was the karaage was a little salty for me, but I still ate it!
Managed to squeeze in dessert, mango cheesecake, macha tiamasu and macha sundae. Desserts were OK, not the best, so wouldn’t particularly recommend them. Stick to the starters and mains.
So between 2 people; 3 starters, 2 sets of makis, 2 bubble teas and 2 desserts, you’re looking at about £60.

What a fantastic restaurant. We absolutely loved our visit to Edo the food was spectacular, divine but also super affordable. And as far as hospitality goes, it was the best, really friendly and attentive. The food was quick to come out and tasted fresh. As for the restaurant itself, it’s a very clean and calming environment to enjoy your meal in.
We will 120% be going back, just wish I could eat in there every day. A real authentic slice of Japan.
