Ordered the typical chicken teriyaki meal without rice….no challenge or debate. Gave all veggies and meat. Ordered another one to go was so good. Will eat later. Lol.
Atmosphere a 4 as typically cafeteria type environment but service and food a .!
Today, I ordered the beef meal, and it was a letdown. The beef was dry and tough, the portion of rice was noticeably smaller than usual, and the overall taste and appearance of the food were far from the standard I’ve come to expect from Edo Japan.
Another major concern is hygiene. All food handlers and servers must observe proper personal hygiene, and this is non-negotiable. From the counter, I could smell an unpleasant odor, which was extremely off-putting and unacceptable in a food establishment.
I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses both the quality of the food and hygiene practices to bring this branch back to its former standard. Until then, I’ll be reconsidering where I order from.
Still nasty. I ordered dynamite sushi with salmon nigiri and got salmon sushi with smoked salmon nigiri. I hate smoked salmon, couldn’t eat anything. They also gave me spring rolls when I ordered shrimp tempura. The only item to-order was their cold gyoza
Also, the staff don’t heed allergy warnings and put snow peas in soup regardless of said warning.
Edit: still garbage. Harbor landing is better. This location very clearly waters down its soup. Honestly I’d sooner spend extra time going across town than eat there again. The difference is by a mile
Soup used to be phenomenal here. Amazing with soy sauce and Sriracha.
Now its broth tastes very watered down. Barely any flavor. Its like this for every edo location now.
Sushi barely holds together.
So sad that the only good meal now is their bento box
