I have been a loyal customer of Edo Japan in Fort Richmond for 5 years. Last Saturday, my family and I visited Edo Japan Fort Richmond during dinner time. The store was packed, and it was clear that it was busier than usual with people eating in, taking away, and ordering delivery. The two staff at the front were very welcoming, polite, and efficient. They let us know that our order would take a while, and we were fine with that. We ordered Family Deals and 5 Sushi Platters because we love their food, and it did not disappoint. The staff delivered our order in less than 15 minutes, which was impressive given the crowd. We were pleasantly surprised by the fast service despite the long line and many waiting customers. The staff are definitely hardworking. Although the store didn’t have a tipping option, my family chose to tip the staff who worked diligently during the busy period. These staff members are a credit to the company. I hope Edo Japan considers implementing a tipping option so that their hardworking staff can be rewarded for their excellent service.

Since Kenaston location shut down we drive further as we enjoy EDO. We are told it’ll be a 30 min wait!!!!, as they have a big order coming in but not in yet. The manager gives us attitude about it and says we just have to wait while the cashier, she was very nice about it. Perhaps as a manager, being more professional and taking the cashiers politeness is a training opportunity. Very disappointing as the other locations are friendly and helpful and never rude or some sort of issue. Very disappointing.

Ordered beef yakisoba with spring rolls and gyoza. Tasty and delicious. Reasonably priced.

Im glad this restaurant is managed by Filipino & crew right now, as there are really very few filipino run restaurants here in the south, we desperately need more filipino restaurants here.

You can be sure the food preparation and the restaurant as a whole (including the washroom) is CLEAN at its best. Highly recommended !

I don’t want to left this negative feedback because their food is really good but this happens twice with me. Very disappointing experience. As a paying customer, I was shocked to be denied access to the washroom. The lady, dont know her name she wears glasses was rude and dismissive when asked. Basic customer courtesy was completely lacking. This left a very negative impression, and this is not good for regular customers.

Had an amazing experience at Edo Japan! This was our first visit, and my wife and I absolutely loved it. The dishes were full of authentic Japanese flavors, and the place was calm, clean, and well-maintained. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a real Japanese food experience!

Very polite and helpful staff. I wasn’t 100% sure what to have as it was my first time going there and the lady behind the counter was very informative and helped me choose my meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very friendly and warm I would highly recommend this restaurant 10/10 will go again.

I order Hawaiian chicken, add asian veggies, add garden veggies, sumo for 22$ I found they barely gave me any asian veggies (snow peas, red peppers) broccoli was plentiful just needed to be cooked another minute or two, other than that it was good, staff were friendly.

Absolutely amazing! Chicken noodle tasted perfect, chicken cooked to perfection, vegetables are well cooked and not dead. It has the wok hay. We also tried volcano sushi it was delicious. Sides are amazing, we had shrimp tempura and spring rolls. Prices are affordable and portions are good. Mango bubble tea with mango pieces in it was a breath of fresh air. Nice customer service, kind workers. Overall perfection. I wish I could give more stars.
