At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked tow and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host-one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.
BBQ joint providing slow-smoked dishes & traditional Southern sides, plus fried chicken & catfish.

I stopped in and ordered the pulled chicken platter since they were sold out of turkey for the day. The chicken was moist and flavorful overall, though I wasn’t a fan of the drizzle on top, and the utensils placed directly on the saucy chicken wasn’t ideal.
The baked beans were excellent. The banana pudding was easily my favorite part of the meal, sweet with just the right texture. The cornbread was good too but a little spicy.
I also tried the “nachos,” which turned out to be loaded homemade potato chips instead of tortilla chips. Not bad, but not quite what I expected. (Not pictured)
Overall, a solid meal with some standout sides, though a few details could be improved for a better dining experience.

Everything was great from the pulled pork to the fried pickles. We went there after a competition and one of the workers was so polite. She fully engaged our son and asked all kinds of meaningful questions. Then to top it off, she gave him a free banana pudding. Made his day.

The food was very good and the place is super cute. It looks like they do a lot of business. I had plate of sides and my husband had pulled pork. If your flavor profile likes vinegar, you’ll like the sauce and coleslaw. The green beans are really good. The beans are good but I prefer really sweet beans. The banana pudding is so good!!

We had a fantastic experience tonight at Edley’s BBQ. From the moment we walked in and our order was taken, we were greeted with warm smiles, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality. Now, let’s discuss the food. Hands down, it was beyond exceptional. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the baked beans, with a mix of pinto and kidney beans, were out of this world. The macaroni and cheese was spot on, and the banana pudding was incredible. We’re grateful for the hotel’s recommendation. After a long drive, we were famished, but this place did not disappoint. Kudos to Charlie, the manager from Richmond, who displayed genuine Hoosier hospitality, and Camden, who was accommodating and helpful with our menu choices. Bravo to this outstanding establishment. ❤️❤️❤️

The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly, servers are helpful will come collect plates and check on you during the meal. I personally enjoy the brisket tacos with the fried jalapenos and Grit casserole just the right amount of spicy. Definitely recommend can’t wait to go back.

Solid choice for BBQ. I had the brisket and pork plate and it was good. No complaints.
Parker the bartender is fantastic and they had a good selection of beers.

This place was so great, I stopped here twice on a four-day trip to Franklin. The first day was just to try it out, and I had brisket and sausage. Then I went back for dinner to try the ribs (and I wanted brisket again, but they were out). The sauce is good, the Mac and cheese was fine, green beans were good. The banana pudding was pretty good, too. But the stars of the show are the meats (and the service). The ribs were so tender, not only did they fall off the bone, but they fell off the rest of the rib meat. It was great. The sausage was good, maybe a jalapeño cheddar sausage? I’m not sure. The brisket was great on the first trip, too, better than the sausage. I wish they’d had it the second time, but the sausage wasn’t bad. As I said in the parenthetical, the service was outstanding, too. I ordered at the counter both times, but they bring your food to you and clear up the tables after, but they check on you throughout. The manager was also ever present walking tables and checking in with folks. It was great to see. I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing restaurant! Very nice family atmosphere, seats inside/outside. I really love their smash burger, you can add half avocado as a side for make meal more healthy. And their pulled chicken is fantastic! So moist and full of flavor. Tastes great next day when reheated too.
Stuff is really nice too. Highly recommended you around BerryFarms.

I don’t usually write reviews for places I’ve had bad experiences at, mainly because I just never return, but this location happens to be in Berry Farms where I currently reside, and our dining options are limited so here we go. The last three times I’ve visited have been disappointing. The first time, I dined in at the bar and ordered their gumbo special and what I was served was far from – basically served a thin vegetable broth (not rue) in a tiny cup with one sausage and one shrimp. The second time was drive-thru, it was AFTER the winter storm which I know was hard on the restaurant industry, and they only had very limited items available to order – I’d understand if it were a slow-cooked protein but a burger!? The third and most recent experience was yesterday and was what prompted me to write this review. We ordered two smash burgers, I know what you’re thinking, how can a bbq spot mess up a burger, but they did! It was a doomed experience from the get-go too. The food was thrown into a brown paper bag and wasn’t in to-go containers so the bag was soggy from grease. The sauces we ordered and paid for never made it into the greasy bag, and when we made it home to eat the burgers they were way over-salted and basically inedible. We did get a stray tater-tot in one of our orders which was a bonus but definitely not enough to redeem the horrible experience. I can’t fully blame management because I understand the complexities involved in the current landscape of the hospitality industry and challenges with the labor force, but I’ve given this newer location enough chances to navigate through the challenges and have only been left disappointed.

Had the brisket and pulled pork with, grits, potato salad, mac and cheese, fries and sweet tea. It was all good. I was mostly curious about the brisket which is definitely some of the best brisket I’ve had but once you’ve been to Texas nothing much compares – I need to try Shotgun Willie’s though. Everything hit the spot just fine – had a nice time, especially outside on the porch. The grits were good, pretty different – reminds me a little of the shrimp grits you get on the Gulf or coast of the Carolinas. Will definitely be back.
