Came in and we were seated at a wobbly high top table. The manager was awesome and noticed that it was wobbling a ton and moved us to another low top table on my request. this table was wobbly too. i ordered a latte and it came out in a cup with lip stick on it. it took 7 minutes just to get that first latte after we placed that order and after the latte came back the cup was “clean”. the truffle fries ($7) we ordered were a little under cooked and needed salt. the food wasn’t terrible but also not anything to write home about. definitely not worth the price. seating wasn’t comfortable but i did enjoy the atmosphere other than that.

Pretty French restaurant within a miniature oasis at Granite Park. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor patio seating. I do recommend sitting outside for the best view of the Boardwalk and the pond. The foods, the drinks, and the desserts were amazing. The customer service was very friendly and nice. The price are decent for the amount of food. They do have afternoon tea which look so beautiful based on other people review, but need to reservation ahead of time. I will definitely come back here to try the afternoon tea next time.

My third, but last visit!!! I called and made a reservation for 6 people. When we arrived, they sat us in the back of the restaurant! It was almost like we were not in the restaurant, but in the place where they stack their chairs and tables (it was super disrespectful). We asked the server to change our table, and she explained that they had 2 big events, and they didn’t have any other available table. One of my friends went and found us an available table, so the server finally switched us! She was not helpful at all. She kept forgetting forks, drinks, etc. In the end, we had to ask her to fix our checks many times because she kept messing up. Since they automatically charge 20% of gratuity for groups of 6, the servers don’t care about being helpful and nice. We paid around $50-$65 per person for brunch and ended up hating that place because of how bad was our experience. When someone calls to make a reservation, let them know that you have events going on and you can’t provide good service. Nobody deserves to sit in the back of the restaurant or get their food cold, etc. Not going back for sure!

The restaurant itself is so beautiful! Even the patio is amazing. The private tea room has an amazing plant covered wall. Truly a great restaurant ambiance! But the food, oh my gosh was it great! We tried a couple different things and everything was amazing. The oysters are a must! I’m mainly a fan of oysters in the north east, but these were done so perfectly, that I’ll come back just for those! The cocktails were classy yet strong and delicious as well. Overall a great place to stop in.

A restaurant in a prime area with very good ambience and all. But the positive seem to stop there.
This is my first visit to a restaurant with French Cuisine, so take my feedback from that point of view.
Very few vegetarian and almost no vegan options. Food is bland, served cold and less warm, not very eye pleasing or have sensory aspect to it. Unsure, if that’s what French folks opt for but was surprisingly disappointed.
We are a group of dozen people here to celebrate Father’s Day. The drinks are so poorly made, not even one person did bottoms up and no one ordered a second drink. The pineapple and cranberry juices felt like bottled ones from Kroger, nothing against Kroger though.
The dishes are very bland, and small (may be except for omlette) ended up ordering two different dishes each.
The service was slow, not kid friendly, barely accountable and didn’t help the experience.

We expected a great service and tasting restaurant however the service was unfortunately poor for our table of two. We had a waiter who was not professional, but we brushed it off as someone who may have had a bad day or new start. We were seated outside and it grew colder as the sun went down. Every outdoor table that was seated with people got their gas lamp & heater lit… except ours. The gas lamp and heater next to our table was MOVED to the table of four a few feet away from us (far enough that we couldn’t feel the heat). We thought.. weird.. maybe they’ll light the lamp behind us. Yet, as the dinner went on, our waiter rarely visited our table except to collect the plates and bring the check at the end. We ate outside in the cold, shivering, while the restaurant staff neglected to light the heater next to our table when EVERY other table had theirs warmed. It was just my sister and I who dined there, a small table of two, and yes we are young, but still deserving of fair customer service and respect. Needlessly to say, we will not be returning or recommending Edith’s to family members due to the poor service…

Great experience! We made a reservation for high tea. The tea and food were excellent. They were training a server that day and he also did well. It’s such a great place for pictures; but you pay for it at about $50 per person, before tip. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they asked to move my reservation up an hour, because they had an event that night. They also had our reservation for only 3, when we reserved for 4, and so they had to prepare once we got there. Looking at other reviews, this isn’t the first time, and in my opinion, that’s just not good business.

I’ve been to all other restaurants at the Boardwalk and I was excited to visit this one for my birthday dinner! I didn’t look at the reviews before hand and I’m glad. For us, the service was great! Really I give it a 5 for the cheese plate and drinks alone. The drinks were carefully crafted with the perfect mix. You could taste the variation of flavors without noticing how strong it was. Our meals were great as well, so we will be back for brunch!!

What a fun way to celebrate our students of the month! We checked out Edith’s High Tea and it was a fun experience for the girls—they loved their real-life tea party! We had the Tea Room all to ourselves (it was a Monday afternoon about 1:00pm). The staff was great and super helpful! A member of the staff saw us taking selfies outside before our reservation and ran out to help. He also showed us to our table and took more pictures for us in front of the greenery wall. I will say that I feel like you are paying for the experience as we left hungry despite our bill being close to $200. We had two adult high teas, 2 children high teas, 2 mimosas, 2 children sprites, and added 2 pastries. The Tea Room and restaurant are beautiful!
