The menu items were a bit bland for my taste. The grilled tomatoe was hard and cold in the middle as if it had been just taken out of the crisper. Steak was tender.
The french onion soup was just fine.
Enjoyed the reasonably priced mimosas, they were $3 each.
I would try this place again, perhaps just a different entree.
The raclette is superb, but everything I’ve had there is delicious. The short rib hash, the poutine, the crepes, the croissant, the desserts. Every time I go I feel like there’s something I need to try the next time. No reservations after 1030 is the only downside.
The coffee is strong, the prices are reasonable, and it is a very pretty restaurant to boot.
Be a good son, take your mom to brunch.
If you go on a Sunday morning before the place is busy 9-10:30, don’t bother to sit outside. They don’t seem to check the outdoor sittings nor open the door to/from outside sitting although the place is open. To get service go to the front, tell them you need service before sitting down, and wait several minutes before someone takes your order. A lot of effort to enjoy a lazy Sunday breakfast and coffee; might return if they remain open for business and pay attention to customers waiting for service.
It’s not about the sweets you bake and the pretty food you put on the plate, but also the attention to every customer that walks in your store, efficiency in the service you provide, and consistency.

Went for Sunday breakfast… had quiche, pancake, cappuccino, and black coffee. Everything was excellent; the food had quality, well made, and flavored well.
For a location known with parking issues, it was surprisingly easy to park. They have a large outdoor patio seating with French cafe music. I expected it to be a walk up and order cafe, but pleasantly surprised it is a seat down eatery.
I’m recommending this place.
Some of the glasses on our table seemed not very clean, so I used my water bottle that was in my purse instead.
Hubby really enjoyed his food.
My friend and I came here and got the Duck&Apple and the Croissant&Chicken. They are being really delicious! The only thing I didn’t like was the croissant that was more like a piece of bread than light pastries.
As for drinks, we had the Edith’s Special Blend coffee and Pomegranate and Ginger tea. The coffee smells amazing! The tea on the other hand, has no gingery taste at all.
