Creepy Uncle Dave here. Today I went to the Tex Mex Deli in Edison. The food was amazing! I tried a burrito that was out of this world. Apparently this was a new entry to their already sprawling menu. My boss once told me that if I never step out of my comfort zone and try something new I will never taste success. At the time I was pretty sure the only success I was going to taste was the sweat from my forehead seeing as he wanted me to dig a 200 foot trench by hand. Anyway, this was a shredded chicken burrito stuffed to the hilt with chicken, rice and beans, then smothered with MOLE, MOLE, MOLE sauce. Sorry, if you know you know. My coworker had the birria tacos that looked equally amazing. They must have been good seeing as he didn’t even offer a taste. This isn’t a white tablecloth establishment but the food definitely has potential. I’m sold! I’m definitely coming back and I think you should check this place out too. Tell them I sent ya!

Scrumptious Mexican food, their Barria meat & sauce is one of a kind. Very LARGE portions, the Barria Quesadilla feeds two and the Burrito is HUGE. Will be coming back really soon to try the Tacos I’ve heard great things.

Excellent food in a clean,but no frills, location. There’s a wide selection of different types of Tex-Mex food. The staff is very friendly. The space was very basic, but it lent itself to the laid-back attitude of the place. They also have a birria quesadilla, something I’ve never seen before, but is delicious.

Amazing tacos! I used to dislike tacos but not anymore, if you’re like me and think you didn’t like tacos, come here and give yourself a second chance! Will definitely be back!
My husband ordered carne asada and barbacoa tacos, he also says this has been the best tacos he’s had to date. I ordered fish tacos and they are amazing, didn’t seem fried, and was very tender and flavorful. Not bland at all, but not salty either. Portions are very generous, and food was fresh; adding guac $1 per taco was super worth it, the amount given speaks for itself.

If you’re looking for savory food this is is the place. Had to try the menu and it’s been 3 times already jajaja. The tacos are loaded, great prices, the atmosphere is quiet and chill, and the natural juices are great as well. If you’re in the area definitely a must try.

Since I moved out of California it’s been a pain trying to find a quality Mexican place. I am at peace finding this place. The interior of the restaurant extremely clean , I wish all restaurants live to the same standards!
What makes this place truly special are the owners and the employees are considerate for all their customers . Once for my take out order, they even called because their online menu doesn’t fully list all the meat products; super considerate ! (Yes, I def did add meat since I knew that was an option )

I got catering for my night crew at the laboratory and it was a huge success !!! Everyone was full and got to take food home. A lot of people assumed the quality of the tacos were from the city but I had to correct them that it was local near our job in Edison
I got coworkers that have food restrictions and the Edison Tex Mex had everything for everyone : the vegetarians at my job and they were so grateful about the nachos. I have coworkers that don’t eat pork so they had a lot of chicken tacos.
