We decided to take a little trip to Edison today for date night. We both ordered the all you can eat fish dinner but only had one helping because the portion sizes were big. The fried mushrooms were huge(quarter placed to show size) and it was obvious they were breaded there at the restaurant plus the ranch was super tangy. The coleslaw was cold and crisp. The fries did need some salt but still good. Now for the fish, outstanding! Huge portions and clearly breaded at the restaurant. The tartar also looked house made. They have items for sale to take home also. We were going to pick up the bacon ketchup and double dipped malt balls but forgot to get them. We plan on going back to try the burgers. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The inside was very quaint and homey feeling. We are planning on returning to visit the farm market and shop which were closed when we went. Definitely worth a stop.

Talk about a hidden gem. Amazing home cook style meals. Everything we have had here has been more delicious than the next. Our new favorite for sure. Can not wait to try more. Atmosphere is perfection and the staff Here are some of the friendliest most wonderful people. They make you feel at home. Even our 3 year old said 5 stars!

Way overpriced heated up GFS food. With the limited menu selection and high price per entre one expects quality and or quantity. Both were neither. And a suggestion when you make coffee please do not reuse the grounds… Wateress was pleasant and helpfull. Do not recommend based off food quality and high price.

We were there last Sunday aprox 2pm. I had the meatloaf sandwich which consisted of a thin slice of what I thought tasted like processed meatloaf on a standard small hamburger bun. For the $10 price it was in my opinion sub-standard. I was able to substitute fresh for green beans which again in my opinion was just a small portion of can green beans reheated. I fully understand that your a small business just trying to make it however I can only suggest do better. Again it’s only my opinion and hopefully constructive criticism.

Went to have the Saturday Breakfast Buffet. Was very good. Homefried potatoes smothered with cheese, peppers, and scallions. There was biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes cinnamon french toast, assorted pastries and donuts. Servers were all ladies, like someone’s grand mother.

The food was tasty and served quickly. Prices were reasonable for what was delivered. Staff was quite friendly and all moving with purpose. My impression is that it’s the local after church hotspot. It filled to the rafters about 20 minutes after my party was seated with no wait.

This is an awesome place for any occasion. However, I particularly enjoy breakfast. The chicken fried steak and omelets are the bomb. My family frequently have lunch here with friends and family. It is definitely a great meeting place. Excellent service always! Wonderful hometown, small town friendly, cozy place to relax and eat.

Both times that I have eaten at Edison Depot in Edison, Ohio, the fish and fries are to die for. The first visit was with my sister and her husband. I just wanted some good fish and fries, which just happened to be on the menu. What a surprise. The fish basket was full of beautifully looking crispy, golden, fried fish and fries with a side of coleslaw. I knew I just had to eat there again, only this time I wanted to take my husband. He was not disappointed he ordered the fish and fries basket. He is not a big fish lover, but he loved the fish and fries at Edison Depot. They have other items on the menu, and I can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. The waitresses are terrific. This restaurant has plenty of parking. This is a Mom &Pop restaurant. Nearby, there is an ice cream Parler. We haven’t been there yet, but we have it on our bucket list.
