We love to hang out & enjoy dinner here! Panno is so generous & involved in our community! Daily Edi’s is taking care of our First Responders! The sausage & broccoli cavatelli is my favorite! Wait maybe the homemade fresh baked mozzarella is…..

Attention to detail is a dying skill. I ordered a pizza and gyro. I made sure to specify that I wanted onions, peppers, mushrooms, and pepperoni on the whole thing and sausage on only one half. I also was adamant that I did not want tomato on the gyro. $45 later, I got a pizza with pepperoni and sausage on half, and veggies on the other half. I also got a gyro with tomatoes on it. Are your people even listening when people call to order? Super disappointed. I would not choose to go back here.

It was a good thing we were hungry! Edi does not believe in small portions. The food was delicious; I had a large salad and a massive slab of vegetarian lasagna, while my wife savoured a thick chicken quesadilla, and my son, nothing up his sleeves, made a cheeseburger disappear. Service was excellent and friendly (Edi?) and the large gathering of women in the back made it clear this place was a local favorite. If you are ever in Moosup, do as the mooses do!

It seems like people seem to order to-go here mostly but we enjoyed dining in. I like the variety of seating. Booths, low seats or high barstools. I really liked our waiter. He was very nice, polite and attentive.
Their house made Mac and cheese came with a soup or side salad!
It’s casual diner/cafe style inside.
Would definitely come back.

Dropped by and the waitress was super accommodating and attentive. We were gonna watch the Champions League Final on our phone but our waitress put it up on the big screen! We started of with a New England Chowder which was solid. I got the Homemade Mac and Cheese with grilled chicken and it was one of the better mac and cheeses i’ve had, but it was piping hot and through fault of my own, burnt my mouth. The Spaghetti and Meatballs was good, or so I was told. Would definitely come back again but being situated on a one-way street is a bit annoying.

Probably the best Breakfast spot in Moosup/ Plainfield area and they have good Pizza too. The service has always been nice, friendly and attentive. Haven’t had a bad experience in 15 tries.

Haven’t been to Edis in years but friends of our keep recommending so we gave it a shot. Went this past weekend and quite honestly the food was outstanding. Had one the specials stuffed chicken and risotto everything was so fresh and outstanding perfectly cooked and seasoned. I raved about the food. The service was great and the owner came and spoke with us and even offered some free desert to go home with us. We declined ed but really appreciated the gesture.

Fast forward a few days and decided that it was so good let’s pick up some food to go tonight. What a mistake. Went with a friend and we ordered dinners, he had 4 different dinners and I had one to go. They brought all the food out together and mixed all the dinners together. My friend had chicken parm and veal parm and I ordered a veal parm. When they handed us the meals they couldnt tell which were which even though we ordered separately. So even leaving the restaurant the best they could do was offer a 50/50 chance that you were getting the right meal?

I rolled the dice picked one and ended up getting the right meal, veal parm, what I got was C‐ meal. Overcooked spaghetti, garlic bread that wasn’t toasted just wet bread and Veal Parm patties that are the pre made, breaded ones you get in the freezer section of your grocery store. Everything was a disappointment and I was so excited as the food was so good a few days earlier.

I will give it one more chance as the people were very nice and attentive and again the first time the food was really good.

Which is the real Edi’s the great specials or the weak food we got tonight. Before anyone bashes me I did check with my friend as he ordered 4 separate dinners as well and was really disappointed with 3 out of 4 of them.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I had the homemade mozzarella and a pepperoni pizza. The mozzarella was really nicely done, plenty of it with a tasty marinara. The pizza was very good also, nice sauce and very good pepperoni. They’re was no crisp on the crust though, that would have made it near perfect. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.2.

Owner and wait staff are 10/10, extremely personable, and go the extra mile every time you walk through the door. Highly recommend for a casual, local dinner out
