Went here for an early Easter dinner and was blown away not only by the food but also the atmosphere. I can’t remember her name but our server was super friendly and personable. I had the prime rib with a baked sweet potato and a side salad with buttermilk ranch dressing. I really enjoyed my food, especially the bread. There was something about the bread that made it super tasty. We also got a slice of peanut butter and chocolate pecan pie, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable. I was told that the dining room is inside of an old grain silo which contributes to the restaurant’s unique vibe that really adds to the experience. I would definitely go back here and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.

Be warned. The place is charming and the food is good. But they are severely short staffed. The current staff is great and working hard. But they are not able to keep up. We waited 30 minutes to be seated and another 90 to be served our food. By this time, we had grumpy kids, had lost our appetite and couldn’t wait to leave. What would make it better is if they had told us what to expect when we went in so that we could choose whether to stay or leave.

The Edinburg Mill Restaurant is a great find in the Shenandoah Valley. Located in the historic town of Edinburg, the restaurant is housed in a restored mill that dates back to the 1800s. The interior of the restaurant is rustic and charming, with exposed beams and brick walls. The menu features classic American fare with a focus on fresh, local ingredients.

Delicious! A local gem in Edinburg. The rolls are amazing! I loved the sweet potato pasta and my husband really enjoyed the catfish. Kids meals are super affordable with great options too. Try the peanut butter pie and chocolate pecan pie!

Food was good but it took almost 2 hours to get our food. I get we were a group of 8 but still. Granted, staff was AMAZING so rating service was hard.

We ate dinner there this evening. I ordered a burger and my husband ordered a chef salad. One of the sides I ordered was a salad. It took 20 minutes to get my salad. The salad was on a saucer plate and very little salad. When I received my burger it was on a sub roll. The waitress informed me that they ran out of hamburger buns – the tiny burger on a larger sub roll – I had to take my burger off the sub roll and just eat the burger. They should have informed me they did not have any hamburger rolls. Wouldn’t you think if they ran out of hamburger rolls they could have just gone to the store to pick some up? We had to ask the waitress for ice tea refills. When we paid the bill and the waitress brought the check back for us to sign the credit card was not in the folder. I had to ask for my credit card back. Oh and by the way we were the only two in the restaurant. The prices have gone up and the food quality has gone done. We use to visit this restaurant every week and for the past several months it has gone down hill. The manager didn’t even come over to apologize to us. This is our last visit there!

Run!!!! We ordered a seafood platter (shown in the picture). The catfish smellsq like stinky tofu and nostril. I asked the waitress twice, she insisted it is normal smell. Then I ate took ~5 bites, and I had diarrhea immediately after the dinner, so did my friend who took ~3 bites. So please please don’t go to this restaurant if you don’t want to get poisoned.

Treated my parents to a 50th Anniversary experience at “The Mill” in Edinburg. Jason and his team made the evening special with excellent service as well as delicious food. We enjoyed the vegetarian selections from the menu and the delectable desserts. Thank you Jason for a memorable dinner!

Don’t go here if you expect mediocre food fast. This food, the service, the ambiance are all amazing. We’ll definitely be back! If you are looking for a place to eat before an evening at the Shenandoah Theater this is a win-win (make reservations for 5:30 for a 7:30 show).

Pleasantly surprised! We had a charcuterie plate which was amazing, nice sangia, steak, tuna, and shrimp which all were very tasty. We also had homemade sangria..not too sweet. The merlot chocolate dessert was so rich and addicting if you love chocolate. Look forward to coming back.
