There are not enough stars to reflect the absolute amazing experience we had! Our hostess with the mostest, Gilly went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our first meal. She recommended we order the hanger steak special – I don’t know what that chef did, but it was the tastiest and most tender steak we had ever had – perfectly cooked to order! My husband and I BOTH cleared our plates. Additionally, we want to thank Gilly again for helping us when our truck broke down in the parking lot – she checked in on us several times and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you to the entire staff for making our first time here one to remember.

Nice place…has museum, gift shop and an old world feel. Watch you head …may have to duck under ceiling beams.
No Prime Rib tonight…but was happy with the blackened Catfish…perfect seasoning and fresh local fish. It’s served with a nice spicy chorizo. Choice only sides.. the baked sweet potato and whole fried okra was perfect match.
I had the pork belly Confit as appetizer… very tender but disappointed as there was no belly fat…could have been sliced tenderloin.
Servers were all very sweet and professional. Offered suggestions and know the menu.
Note #1: they close at 8pm even on weekends so come early…and make reservations.
Note #2: came in 7:15pm on Saturday before. My son was taking me out for myb60th bday. There were 6-7 empty tables but we couldn’t be seated because they were reserved. Honestly if they close at 8, I doubt they would take reservations for 730. Disappointed but didn’t hold it against them for the review.

We had a wonderful lunchtime experience. The taco salad and catfish sandwich were very good. I have a gluten allergy and I was impressed with the options and the knowledgeable staff. The prices were reasonable.

Our server was very friendly and helpful. She was also working very hard and efficiently. The scallops were some of the best I have ever had. Get the rice and use it to soak up the juices . My wife and son said that the crab cakes were very good as well and my wife wouldn’t leave until she finished the baked sweet potato. The atmosphere is so old school and just perfect for dinner before seeing a production at Theatre Shenandoah. The best start to a wonderful evening. Thank you so much!

I love coming to the Mill. It’s a bit of a drive for me so I don’t often but I try to come a few times through the year. Occasionally if they’re busy the service can be a bit slower but the food is always wonderful & I love the atmosphere & people.

I love historic buildings and great food and wonderful service so when the three are introduced in one it’s a great experience. Now knowing the history of this poor little mill and what it’s endured I’m glad to have visited this restaurant. Gilly our server was wonderful, polite and helpful. The food was amazing and almost magical. The food is made to order so the wait was worth it. I’m glad to see that this mill and restaurant will see generations to come bravo edinburg and the owners of the restaurant .

Amazing food. I had the seafood platter which tasted amazing. Crab cake was one of the best I’ve had. My wife had a sirloin that was large and cooked perfectly. She thought it was amazing. We were way too full for dessert but the menu for it looked great. Would highly recommend. Was a rainy dreary evening wished it was prettier outside for pics.

Went here for an early Easter dinner and was blown away not only by the food but also the atmosphere. I can’t remember her name but our server was super friendly and personable. I had the prime rib with a baked sweet potato and a side salad with buttermilk ranch dressing. I really enjoyed my food, especially the bread. There was something about the bread that made it super tasty. We also got a slice of peanut butter and chocolate pecan pie, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable. I was told that the dining room is inside of an old grain silo which contributes to the restaurant’s unique vibe that really adds to the experience. I would definitely go back here and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.

Run!!!! We ordered a seafood platter (shown in the picture). The catfish smellsq like stinky tofu and nostril. I asked the waitress twice, she insisted it is normal smell. Then I ate took ~5 bites, and I had diarrhea immediately after the dinner, so did my friend who took ~3 bites. So please please don’t go to this restaurant if you don’t want to get poisoned.
