Service was terrible. Two people working, a customer was waiting ahead of us for their own. Even though both employees saw us and made eye contact they never once acknowledged us. After waiting 5 minutes and not being waited on or acknowledged we left.

We took the kids to get ice cream today and we were told they were “short of staff” and that we were not aloud to sit inside to eat but there was a man standing at the counter that looked to be one of employees boyfriend engaged in conversation. The staff is young and it seemed weird that we were being rushed out. It was about two employees there behind the counter. Whenever we go here it only ever seems to be 2-3 workers and besides them making your ice cream order and handing it to you from behind the counter there is not much else they have to help customers with. It’s self seating. We always make sure to clean our area before we leave and come here often so I’m not sure what was going on today that we were not aloud to sit inside.

First of all, the flurry wasn’t even filled all the way to the top and the prices seem high to me. And there is a 50 cent charge now for credit/debit cards which you aren’t notified of until you hand them the card. Next, apparently they ripped the styrofoam container while making it because you can see the hole (so they had to put it inside a second container) and THERE WERE NUMEROUS PIECES OF STYROFOAM IN THE ICECREAM. I literally was chewing on one piece and almost ate it. Please see pics of all the styrofoam and the obvious hole in the container. I mean cmon, this is egregious. How hard is it to just remake it?! I was the only person even there at the time and it still took awhile. Safe to say we won’t be coming back.

The menu has tons of selection and everything I’ve tried is really good. The ice cream is always super cold, which sounds weird but sometimes we’ve gotten ice cream from other places that is already starting to melt when it gets handed to us. The people at the window are always super nice and our dogs love coming for pup cups.

I’m so ecstatic they now are open in the winter!! Was always craving their amazing chili dogs during winter months. Best chili dogs I’ve had in the Toledo area. Oh and…when I was sick and in ICU my sweet hubby stopped to pick me up 2 chili dogs and explained my situation. The wonderful staff made me two chili dogs but separated the chili from the buns and the hot dog from the bun so everything tasted fresh and wasn’t all goopy it’s an amazing crew they have there.
