Everything we ordered was delicious. We had to get some dessert! Which was amazing. I want to go back and try different plates. The ambiance was super cool. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great vibe.

Had dinner at Edgemar and ordered the short rib and the roast
chicken. Both were genuinely great. The short rib Wwas super tender
and really flavorful. The roast chicken was juicy, well seasoned, and
actually interesting, not boring like a lot of places.

The space is nice and relaxed and the service was friendly without
being annoying. Solid spot for a good meal and I would absolutely go
back. Would order both again.

I recently had brunch here and was blown away by the experience! The menu had a delightful mix of flavors, and every dish we tried was outstanding. The Sicilian dish was rich and perfectly seasoned, while the duck taco was tender and packed with unique flavors. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right, making them an irresistible side. And the spring rolls were fresh, light, and full of vibrant ingredients. The combination of dishes made for a brunch that was both satisfying and memorable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and diverse meal!

Tucked into a Frank Gehry building on Main Street, right between Santa Monica and Venice, this beautifully remodeled American bistro delivers with a creative twist. The menu leans heavily on Japanese influences — highlights include the flavorful mushroom noodles, the stracciatella and the chef’s Sunday omakase, a five-course experience that changes weekly with his inspiration, and for only 45$.

The space itself feels versatile and welcoming, equally fitting for intimate lunches or larger group dinners. To complement the food, there’s also a thoughtful wine list with pairings that elevate the meal.

Prices sit comfortably in the mid-range, which feels refreshingly fair compared to the steeper tabs you often find on the Westside or in WeHo.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to try something a bit different on this side of

Such a beautiful spot! Super luxe and chic decor + warm and comfortable vibes. Hands down the best happy hour in Santa Monica!! We loved the straciatella and spinach dips and agreed the fish sandwich was the best either of us had ever had. So glad to have in the neighborhood, can’t believe we didn’t try it sooner.

Everything from the food to the drinks, service and atmosphere was top notch at Edgemar! Highly recommended new restaurant in Santa Monica. The space is beautiful but has a relaxed and cool vibe. Hats off to the chefs. We tried most things on the menu (see pictures) and chefs kiss to each dish!

The service was EXCELLENT, but the food was some of the worst I’ve ever had in LA. We ordered the flatbread, yellowfish crudo, fried chicken, fish and chips, and prawns. Honestly nothing was good. The flatbread was great, but the miso butter was more honey butter than anything else. The yellowfish was VERY fishy and was just swimming in ponzu. The fried chicken was very under-seasoned. The batter and chicken don’t seem to be seasoned, and they’re not even finished in salt. The sauce tasted like just sour cream and dill. It tasted like something made at a friend’s house in a panic. The prawns may have been the worst dish. The sauce was just a sweet tomato marinara with no curry flavor. They forgot to give us any rice, and the service (which again was excellent, took it off our bill). Overall, I’d recommend not coming here for the food.
To be totally honest, this meal didn’t have any sort of care. But even if they did season appropriately, the menu feels uninspired. Everything on the menu I could find in a dozen other restaurant menus. Nothing felt original. Nothing was inspired. If their goal is to make you from hungry to full, mission accomplished. If their goal is to give you a good meal, they come up very short.

I can’t recommend Edgemar highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience was exceptional. The food was absolutely phenomenal—easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and full of rich, vibrant flavors. The chef truly exceeded all expectations.

The setting is just as memorable. In the iconic Frank Gehry-designed building, it perfectly blends the rich architectural history with a modern and warm atmosphere. Ideal for a special night out or a cozy dinner with loved ones.

As a local in Santa Monica, this is a very special spot I will definitely be returning to and recommending to all of my friends and family. So happy a restaurant of this caliber has opened on Main Street!

I’ve been for weekend lunch and dinner and LOVED both!

Lunch: They have a triple cooked wedge potatoes with this INSANELY good curry dipping sauce. The breakfast burrito was great too and it came with a vibrant green sauce and an AMAZING smoky red sauce that I wanted to bathe in! Apparently they hired the sauce person from Felix and she seems worth it! The fish tacos were awesome as well and impressively portioned. *****

Dinner: They still have those bomb potatoes with the curry dipping sauce. The Shrimp Toast was crave worthy and we also loved the lobster fried rice. Excellent drinks too!

The space: it’s a gorgeous setting in a Frank Gehry-designed space! Fun vibes and even well lit.

Fantastic addition to restaurant row on Main Street!
