Our experience at Edge Rooftop was absolutely top tier. From the moment we stepped out onto the terrace, the views alone set the tone — breathtaking skyline, city lights, and that perfect rooftop energy.
The atmosphere was classy but relaxed, the kind of spot where you can dress sharp, unwind, and just enjoy the moment. The drinks were crafted perfectly — balanced, strong in the right way, and beautifully presented. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
Service was on point as well — attentive without hovering, friendly, and professional. Everything flowed effortlessly.

This place is small and cute. Valet parking is only $15. The food was $20. The drinks were $15 – $25. Overall this place is great my brisket sliders were so good .

Entering from the lobby, it felt like a maze trying to find the right elevator and then figure out where to go once I got off. After exiting the elevator, I ended up meandering through what felt like the entire rooftop pool deck with rows and rows of seating, a beautifully laid-out space, and a huge outdoor area before finally reaching the actual bar on the other side of the building.
Verdict: best pool, least impressive late-night drink options.
The rooftop space itself is massive and gorgeous, with seating spread around fire features and plenty of room to roam. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to book a stay just to have access to the pool and outdoor area. Drink-wise, though, the menu was very limited, and they didn’t have any mocktails listed. I asked for “anything mocktail,” and they brought me a virgin Lady Bird. It was mostly juice, but still tasty and refreshing for $8.

A most incredible way to end our day in Austin! Our server Jae was attentive and helpful with suggestions of the menu offerings. Also helped us in making plans for our last day in the city. Everything came out perfect and delicious.

Located in the JW Marriott on the 5th floor around the corner from the pool. Their hours are 6-12am everyday. Hours may change when weather begins to cool down. On Sunday they have Sunday scary night where they have a selection of martinis for $10.00. I tried the Red Lotus for the first time, which was the bartenders special and it was DELICIOUS! Kellys the bartender and is top notch! Outside seating as well as bar seats. Nice cozy place to relax and enjoy drinks with friends. Highly recommend!!

Snow and 70 degrees—what’s not to love? We had a great time making s’mores and sipping fun drinks at the Edge Rooftop Bar. The views were awesome, and it snowed every hour. The drinks weren’t great, but they were strong, and the vibe made up for it.

Caroline was an excellent server! She was incredibly friendly and helpful, she was accommodating, and she even gave us dinner recommendations around town! We have a gluten free member of our party and she was happy to go ask the chef about an item to confirm if it was GF! Truly exceptional service!
