This place was great. Our first time eating here. We were seated almost immediately. We had a wonderful waitress, Deanne. She was great and did her job amazingly! The food was fresh and given in a timely manner. The restaurant was nice, clean, and very welcoming. The prices weren’t too bad either. We will be coming back here for sure!

Nice clean place! I personally love the Grits and just come for them. The coffee is always weak though, wish it was a little less watered down. Love the sourdough bread and biscuits and gravy. All food is very good

The waitress was friendly and tried to serve all. It is wrong to expect one server over the noon hour to greet and seat people, take drink and food orders, serve people, clean off tables, and take their money and give them change. Service suffered. People were standing for almost 5 minutes waiting to be seated. Some customers left. Orders are not taken quickly and food is not served as hot as it should be because the server was doing her other duties.

We originally went to another eatery near by but they had a 20+ minute wait with SEVERAL empty tables. We hit the jackpot by going to Eddie’s Rise and shine. Great friendly service (Kayellen was great) hot fresh food that tasted great. We will be back.

A decent diner experience. Not enough staff. Tables weren’t cleaned off before we were seated. There were 3 of us, but she gave us silverware for 2. Chili was not even luke warm. – Burger, pancakes and salad were awesome tho. With more help, this would be an ideal diner to eat at.

Kalonie was our server and she was wonderful. Attentive and upbeat. Our food was delicious. I had biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs and it was mouthwatering good. This is a good spot for home cooked meals and a friendly atmosphere.

You pay extra for peppers, and they never add them to the omelet. I also found a large egg shell this time. Last time we went, my wife had a long gray hair in her sandwich. They remade it, but there went another 30 minutes. We just won’t be returning, you can get more food for less at the 50 Cafe in Carlyle.

Great roadside restaurant. We stopped in on a Sunday morning on our way through town. It was busy, but not crowded, no wait for our table. The place was spotless. Service and food were prompt. Faith was our server and she was terrific. Will stop here again on our next trip through.

I will not be back!! My daughter and I were there 2 hrs. It took 30 mins to place our order and another 1 hour and a half to get our breakfast. My daughter got pancakes and the server said she would be back with the syrup and she never brought it. It is like they forgot about us. I will just go to Hardee’s next time.
