Went there with the 15 of the crew of the Star Trek Group the USS Justice. Service was excellent. Food was great. Great staff. Atmosphere was excellent and in warmer weather seating outside. Worth the visit if you are in the area.

My husband and I went to Eddie’s on Saturday evening after a long day of driving, so no, we did not have a reservation. However, there were tables available. We waited at the entry between 5 and 10 minutes without an acknowledgement from anyone. Finally a second couple came in and the hostess/bar tender came and asked if we had a reservation. The second couple said they did, and even though their reservation time had not yet come, the hostess immediately welcomed them and took them to a table, pausing to say to us: “oh I have a table for you, too, I’ll be right back.” I felt we should have been seated first as we had waited, tables were available, and the time for the second couple was later. After we were seated our waitress brought menus and offered us drinks. We didn’t know there were specials and soup/vegetable of the day until later when we heard her reciting them to every one of her subsequent tables. Basically, we felt unwelcomed. We were appropriately dressed so I guess the lack of a reservation marked us as second class patrons. Their loss: we usually linger over dinner with a couple of glasses of wine, coffee and dessert. As it was, we ate our dinner and left early. The salad was good, bread was a little dry and served at room temperature, “angel hair” pasta was more like thin spaghetti, tomato sauce had too much tomato paste so was very strong. We are Italian so are used to much better sauce.

Good out of the way find. Came in the off season so had to come a second day to find the hours, Thursday thru Sunday. Great steaks and sides selection. Fresh fish very flavorful with good sized portions. Fresh salads and interesting French onion soup recipe. Nice wine selection and good service. Friendly staff too to bottom. Great job team!

Came in for a convention. Staff immediately greeted us like family. Had trouble with our taxi for return trip to hotel. Several staff members offered to drive us back because it was such a short distance. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Molly communicates with the diners well. Filet medallions and shrimp scampi were delicious. Limited menu. Recommend reservations.

We anticipated all home cooked dishes. Several items were just frozen items deep fried and served with marinara sauce like bar food. Not saying it was bad, just not what was expected.

We had 3 generations out for a great meal! Eddie’s is attractive, has delicious food, and even a big side-yard where the kids could run around. This was our first time, but we will be back! Thank you Beth & Dave for having such a great place!
(Recommend the lobster bisque)

Love Eddie’s! Its usually a bit busy on holiday weekends because its the best resturant around in the northern end of Lake George, NY but well worth the wait! And the the cocktails are delicious too!

My med-rare NY Strip came out med-well, Dad’s veal parm was rubbery, zucchini was pure mush and mom said flavor/texture of “marinara” was like diluted tomato paste.
On top of all that, their claim to fame of “homemade pasta” (my main reason for coming) is 100% false advertising as the server said “Oh, we dont do that anymore”; tho it’s the only item mentioned on their roadside signage.
Bang bang shrimp and wedge salad were only decent part of meal.
Service (Kasey) & atmosphere were great.
For $40pp we won’t be back to the “Overcooked Cafe” or recommend.
