Service was outstanding. Friendly folks, came in after a long day hunting, we were hungry and they sure delivered. Food and service was prompt, given we were off peak time, but really great folks there.

Food was solid, pastrami sandwich was stacked and had nicely toasted rye. The Philly was nice and filling. Cheese curds were great, not some half empty ones like some places.

Pit stop on the road trip home, enjoyed a nice lunch with good service. Sandwiches (Grilled cheese and Fish) and chili were tasty. Good crowd so you know it’s known as a place to stop.

We had good food and good service. The pastrami stacker was good but was not “stacked” like the pictures I saw on Google. I had a lunch combo of TBLT and side salad.

If you’re in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and looking for a cozy spot with great food and a classic pub vibe, make sure to stop by this Irish pub! My wife had the fish and chips and I had the shrimp dinner, and both were fantastic.

The fish and chips were cooked to perfection – the fish was tender with a crispy, golden batter that wasn’t too greasy, and the fries were hot and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp dinner was equally impressive, with plump, juicy shrimp and a flavorful seasoning that added a nice kick. Both dishes came with just the right amount of tartar sauce and cocktail sauce, which added an extra layer of deliciousness to each bite.

The pub has that warm, welcoming Irish atmosphere you’d hope for, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy a good meal, and soak up the lively atmosphere. Whether you’re passing through or a local, this Irish pub is a gem worth visiting!

The food was excellent, we had the Rachel and Pastrami sandwiches with pub fries, the garlic aioli was so good with the fries, the best we’ve ever had.

Feb 2026 – word to the wise, they do not do take out orders, even though the website gives you very prominently a phone number to place a take out order. “We haven’t done that in like 3 years”. Big fans of Erin’s Irish in Madison, so very disappointed to not be able to try Eddie’s while in PDC because we just didn’t want to do dine in after a long day driving.

Went here based on the reviews. The food was not what I expected. The burger meat was quite overcooked. The chips and fries were good. The cheese curds had good flavor but were very greasy.
