I am leaving my previous 5 star review up. I would give our second experience a 2, therefore changing my 5 star to a 3.
We loved Eddie’s the first time and were very excited to be able to make it back. Our service was slow and inattentive, even thoughwe were sitting right at the bar. The Hawaiin fries didn’t taste fresh. Our server forgot to bring our salads. ZERO substitutions for entrées. I asked if I could get the chicken with zip sauce pasta with different veggies instead of chicken. No.
I then asked if I could get the creamy vegetarian pasta made with zip sauce instead. No.
What I ended up being served was some dry pasta with zip sauce and maybe 6 small pieces of broccoli.
Had to share my water due to long refill waits. Had to ask for the check after sitting for to long after finishing. Everyone seemed to be super quick and worried about getting all the to go orders out and not the customers sitting there to dine.
Previos review: Wonderful mix of 50s diner, fine dining and eating at your relative’s home ( the ones you like). The servers were very sweet and attentive. Everything was clean. The pasta is amazing. Served hot and delicious. The Hawaiian fries are so good. A true MUST.

Eddie Gourmets is the ultimate “Triple D”–style hidden gem! A quirky, hole-in-the-wall spot with an atmosphere full of character, a massive menu, and portions that will leave you more than satisfied. The staff are seasoned pros—attentive, friendly, and they clearly love what they do. I recommend this place to everyone I meet in the area. The pasta dishes are my personal favorite—absolutely delicious!

My husband saw a video through social media. We were on that side of town and decided to stop by.
We were greeted with smiles. It’s SUPER small in there, so don’t think you’re going with a group of people.
The food was great and the service was greater.
I was told that the Lemon Chicken (?) needed a little salt and pepper. The gravy and sauces they use are yummy!
The service and the way they all work and move around each other is harmonious.

One of my favorite restaurants in Metropolitan. You get a gourmet meal at half the price of other higher end restaurants. Steak and pasta are always a great options. The must tries are Hawaiian fries and pistachio pies. Highly recommend and the young lady at the register is always a pleasure to talk to. The owner is usually manning the kitchen. Go here, you won’t be disappointed

OMG, I can’t believe I forgot what an absolute gem this place is! I was with my buddy, and he kept calling it by a different name, so I didn’t realize where we were headed. But as soon as we pulled up, it hit me—I’ve been here before, though it’s been probably 7 or 8 years!
At first glance, Eddie’s Gourmet might look like a simple diner, but don’t let that fool you. The menu is incredible, and the staff is just as amazing. My buddy ordered a steak and couldn’t stop raving about how awesome it was. I went with the spaghetti, and wow—the meat sauce was out of this world! Every bite was packed with flavor, and it reminded me why this place is such a hidden treasure.
If you haven’t been to Eddie’s Gourmet yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Whether it’s been years or you’re visiting for the first time, you won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is refreshing to witness the owners, a husband and wife, working collaboratively and serving patrons with unwavering passion. During my visit, I indulged in their tomahawk ribeye, which exceeded my expectations. Remarkably, it was priced significantly lower than comparable establishments, yet it offered an exceptional quality and service that rivaled or even surpassed those of other restaurants. I highly recommend this establishment.
