They use Smith’s Hot Dogs, so the best. That said, the kraut was okay. I was not impressed with the sauce many rave about. It is kind of like a marinara and really didn’t have much flavor.
As some reviewers have mentioned, there’s just the one guy and so ordering can take a while. It wasn’t bad for me on a Monday for lunch.
Prices were pretty reasonable.
Would definitely order another hot dog from Eddie’s. I’d just go with different toppings.

They were open for Christmas Eve apparently. There was a guy working there and I was being patient, but after being ignored for 5 minutes and not even a simple “I’ll be right with you” or even eye contact I just left. I haven’t had Eddie’s in years. I came back home for Christmas and I went threw the mall to go to the liquor store. All I wanted was a hot dog and a couple jars of the meat sauce to share with friends. It’s a great childhood memory for me. I’ll come back again and hopefully the service will be better.

When I first arrived here and ordered, I had gotten a little irritated with the server because he told me he couldn’t prepare fries for me because he was closing in 5 minutes. I don’t think you are allowed to do that. As long as you’re still open, you have to take a customer’s order. I went to a place once in California where they were getting ready to close but because they were still open, the guy fired up the grill and everything. He didn’t seem put off by it either. But the guy at Eddie’s did give me a 10% discount because he didn’t have any fries for me, even though he did seem a little annoyed for having to take a customer’s order so near closing time. But all in all a good experience. I’d return.

They’ve changed their price structure a bit since I was last there. Now you pay extra for their Joe sauce. The person making the hotdog did a pretty good job assembling it but they aren’t the same as they used to be – something had changed but I can’t put my finger on it. A hotdog used to fill me up but now I’d need two to do that … and I’ve lost 20 lbs. But it’s still good food.

Located inside a dead Mall and the zesty guy with the clear glasses behind the counter acted like a diva

The food is always delicious, but they only have one gentleman working the whole thing by himself, so service is slow at best. He certainly moves as fast as one can while waiting on a fryer, but the lunch rush is unforgiving.

I ordered nachos. There was no sour cream or salsa. This is in a mall so seating is right in the open also by the front doors.

I go there almost every time I go to the mall. Service is great and so is the food. It’s what makes the walk to the mall worth it for sure.
